        I would argue that:
Newbie - Someone who just started playing is prone to rookie mistakes
Noob - Has been playing long enough to know better.

VERY stupid idea to bring this up.

No unlike your POST, I've posted his new guid, names and new accounts. Therefore THEY can be added to anyones bannlist via bf2cc or whatever software they use seeing how he still plays. Thus, If you would have looked UP any of his accounts you would have seen that. :yay:

ok there is a different between noob and newbie.
A newbie is a person who is just getting to learn the game is gets better through time and work.
A Noob is a person who never learns to play the game right/good and contiues to suck.

define.... Nublet. my personal fav, if someone calls me a nOOb for killing them 17 times over in that alley because they are too retarded to spawn on their squad leader instead of there then i just say.. there there my lil nublet we all sucked at some point in our lives, i just have the brains to spawn elsewhere. usually they disconnect, i feel that has more to do with them smashing their PC than actually logging off tho

Modern-day online gaming uses 'noob' or 'nub' as an insult, pretty much replacing the old school term we used to call being a llama.

The last time I remember 'llama' being used to define a 'lamer' or 'loser' or modern catch-all equivalent to 'nub', was about 2002. In many games, and on a server I ran myself, we'd be able to silence a 'llama' with AMX plugins which would cause the offending player to play an 'oorgle' type sound everytime they tried to type into the server, making them sound like a sheep.

Then suddenly it all changed when more people started calling others 'newb' as an insult. Usually paired with "Learn to play, newb", shortened to "L2Play".

Back then we'd say "Cry to mommy, llama", now the equivalent is "Cry to mommy, nub".

Noob-anyone who has played bf2 for over a week and has at least twenty seconds in dogfights but is still shot down while in j10 on a REGULAR BASIS.
