Example of Newbie:

2 guys in a cobra, gunner is a newbie. Pilot teaches him how to use TV guided missiles, newbie accepts and does this the rest of the round.

NOOB:

4 people in a transport helo, a noob is piloting it. He is swirving around in the air about to crash. One of the gunners offer to pilot instaid. Noob says shut up, im better than u! and then crashed into the water killing all 4 people

i personally hate the word noob. makes anyone using it look silly. im all for slang but the frequency and childishness in which its used just angers me. i say....we start using the new slag...um...CHOCOPIEHOLE-RABBIT

Noob usually refers to a new player, but now it's just used as an insult. I'm a 1st LT. and get called a noob by friggin sergeants, which just cracks me up.
