I drove a tank directly in front of the parked A-10, then got in the A-10 and shot the tank.
It will eventually kill a tank.
the gun has 500 rounds. It took 15 seconds of point blank direct hits and between 150-200 rounds before the tank blew up.
Now, it'd be pretty damn hard for a pilot in game to keep that gun focused on a tank for 15 seconds. Also, those were point blank, all bullets hit. In game not all of them are going to hit nor are they going to be point blank.
My advice is to do like good pilots do now. Soften them up with your guns prior to dropping bombs on them. That'll do the trick.
I also tested the Chinese bomber, same results.

Np, most of this about AF we've been posting is just to fill people in anyway.
The impacts look like mobile AA rounds exploding. Sound similar too.
Also something we've noticed is that the jets are not much faster than the scout choppers. And those guns on the scout choppers will take down a jet.
If you keep making passes at them, they'll just scoot sideways out of your line of fire while still shooting you, then spin and shoot as you fly away.
A crappy pilot in any of the AF jets can be shot down by a good pilot in a scout chopper.
Nerfing sh1t is so fuxxin gay. I just watched a show on the discovery channel where they built and fired a "Mini Gun"... it's fuxxin amazing. I miss the old ownage mini guns, the way they should be and should have remained. IMO, besides the PKM nerf I miss that the most.
Is the only reason behind nerfing to prevent people from quitting? Who actually quits becasue a single weapon is too over powered... and also, I'm sure more people quit due to unstability then pwnage kits/vehicle.s

off to single player i go to practice with my cobra...lol the fear all along was the a10 was going to be overpowered now i bet the littlebird is gonna be the true killa, can take out a plane, no team mate required for gun operation constant UAV and able to run and gun the attack choppers...this will be interesting! i hope it comes out this weekend.....Thanks for your help Endless
NP. I can already tell people are gonna demand a little bird nerf. Infantry can't hide from it, it can run away from anything.....
I still think there should be a chain of command though
1.A-10
2.Cobra
3.Littlebird...
And so on...the littlebird should run in fear of the cobra and simairly the cobra should hide from the A-10's guns and missles...the same way it works in BF2v right now.
