Since i am getting on a bit and probably the worst player to boot i though i would conduct a poll of the average players age .

I have done a search but can't find anything .

I think your poll should have been broken down a bit more, because I am 29, and I think that there is a big gap between 20 and 29. If you had done like 19-24 and then 25-29, and 30-35, it might be more clear. Seems like everyone I know personally that plays is 25+ with a couple <35.

Seems i am the oldest player here .

Just for the record i have been playing video games for nearly 25 years ,starting with an Atari (you know the origonal Space invaders ) through to a very high spec pc .I have plyed l100 of titles and some have been amazing .

BF2 is the best game i have ever played ( C and c generals came close ) .

What about us old fogies Rocket child ?????????????

I think we are all trying to keep a hold of our youth! I was just noting that when I was younger, I did not understand the gaps in age. Now, I start to really see how every 5 years, you are much more different then you were 5 years earlier (in some cases).

I read the other day, the average gamer is 33 and has been playing games for 11 years. Link.

This game should be rated mature.

Then, we could turn on Gibs like a true FPS would have!
