Yes. Check out the Single Player forum.

Copy the 16, 32, or 64 folders from the sp1 folder to the gpm_coop folder found in the map's server.zip file after you have downloaded and installed the large navmeshed maps.

Thats all fine and well for getting the maps in, but will the bots use the additional spawnpoints and know about the other flags?

Indian this is exactly what I am getting. I have went down through all the maps too, 16, 32, 64 just to be sure. Thanks for your reply.

Yes. Depends on which maps you install. Most are 64 player maps that are fully navmeshed for bots. There are some that have 32 and 64 navmeshed.

Now if we can just get them to add a button to force all the live players to one team so we can have real co-op and not just conquest with bot support.

They have that, one of the sliders(cant remember which) if you put it at 100, all the bots spawn mec, if 0 all usmc, 50 splits the sides.

the Coop mode is a little silly. Our clan got together with hamachi, and about 9 of us did a coop game on Dalian Plant. It was 9 vs 32!!!!!

It was kinda hilarious. The 32 bots would swarm bases like flies on ****! But then they wouldn't really move aggressively towards the last base.

But besides that, they were ridiculously easy to kill. I got in a tank and had 45 kills in about 8 minutes. Now, they seem to be ungodly accurate with rockets and single shotted weapons. I was getting one-hit killed from hundreds of yards away by a AK-101!!!!! and if you're in a tank, watch out, multiple rockets will fly out you, arcing and bending, not just flying straight, cuz the computer bots can aim them and move them.

But anyway, our 9 guys were constantly in the bleed (meaning, losing tickets due to having fewer bases), but we still ended up winning 180-0. Its so easy just to run them over.

Oh, and becuse they bunch up so much, ARTY strikes generally take out 6-10 bots at a time!!!!

Sometimes, you can just wait in an area where you can't get snuck up on, and the bots will come up to you like little lemmings, just waiting to get shot! LOL one after another after another after another goes down!

You must not have gotten the memo

Memo dated 5/24/06 from DICE...j/k.

1. Download and install the incremental patch
2. Find out that Co-Op option may not be available with the incremental patch. Some users have it, others don't.
3. Uninstall BF2
4. Reinstall BF2
5. Download and install the full patch
6. Select Co-op from the multiplayer browser

DICE developers/QA are a joke...

@FFolkes, i downloaded that big 540mb map pack and followed your instructions and can get them to show up in the single player, but not the co-op. I put them in the correct mod folder and also in the correct server.zip. Any ideas?

Your friends will need to use the Multi-Player "Connect to IP" option.
