Also.. How do I know what IP to give my friend to join? The IP it is showing in-game is my router IP "192.168.x.x".

You can log into your router through the web interface and look at it's WAN address. Then, you have to setup port forwarding to forward the ports from the router to the computer you're playing BF2 on your LAN.

Sorry, but without specific info on your router, this is about as helpful as I can be, good luck!

192.168.x.x is your LAN ip.

You need to join a WAN ip.

The only way, other ppl should join your "lan", is with a VPN connection. Hamachi is a free tool, which creates the connection for you. Then you just join a network, then you all are on a virtual lan.

No, those maps are not released with the patch their created by a third party.

This is weird, I patched (tried both incremental and full) and I only see conquest and singleplayer options on the dropdown menu.

What gives?

I see conquest and coop but no singleplayer. But the coop blows anyways cause it only has the 16 player maps.

COOP works with the 16 players versions of the maps only!!!

Plus, you need to set "Max Number of Players" to 1 if you want to play SP and use the config options Coop brings becaused they are not available in SP mode. At least you can play with up to 48 bots on those maps.

Of course Coop is not possible on maps that can't be played SP as Dice did not add additional "AI" files (not that I would call that bot behavior anything close to AI as it is more like RI with R as in ridiculous :)

please resart you cpu this will fix the problem :)

and also use the 1.3 full :)

p.s put the team % to 150 or 50 depending what side you want humans on :)

well, me and my clanmate got it working, if you play karkand with 32 bots, be sure to use support gun.

my clanmate was commander and since he didnt give them an order, our entire team was sitting at hotel just crouched and looking the same direction. dumb bots! makes for a nice C4 blowing though :)
