I have to say mine is crouching down and firing on single fire. Most people expect you to go prone so they aim for your feet while going prone themselves, well, when you don't go prone, they end up shooting you in the feet and you shooting them in the head.

It's pretty funny. Considering I play Assault more than any other class in the game, it's often rewarding.

...I don't know if that counts for a "trick", but it has won me plenty of gunfights.

My favourite trick is to grab the kit of the medic or support soldier I just killed, lay myself down some med packs or ammo or even revive a squaddie, and then pick up my original AT kit again...it serves as a nice taunt...since they get to watch all of this in their death cam

            That's a good one.

My favorite/best trick is not having one so no one ever knows what I'm going to do.

My best thing is wasting the SOB's who try to pull C4 sh!t in my home base before they have a chance to detonate, so at the end they feel like they wasted few minutes and so much effort for nothing. I also enjoy knifing snipers that don't pay attention to anything outside the scope view.

Killing someone, teabagging them, then running over, picking up their kit and yelling 'thank-you' a few times (which the dead person can hear by the way).

I like the SAS paradrop spawn into Warlord. You can float down to one of the flags from the sky. Sometimes you can land and DAO a hiding Insurgent or 2 and cap it the flag to boot. Pretty good time, although not a trick per se.

Roadkilling in my DPV. Missing a guy only to jump out and stab him in the neck and drive off.

Not a great trick. But it makes the enemy not want to come near me again. Im a badboy

Going spec ops on Karky with an engineer and a sniper, taking a humvee round the back (off map), dropping mines on the gatehouse ramp and blowing the bridge. Cap the gatehouse and watch the MEC spawn at train accident, realise the bridge is out, getting sniped or blown up while I bugger off to cap suburbs :) great fun and a gamewinner

I just thought of something. If you spawn on the carrier, lob a grenade at the people rushing for the jet / heli, and then switch to the other team before the grenade blows, what happens?

As a mec engie, I'll sneak over to the USMC uncappable base and plant mines at the entrance. The US tanks will assume that they're friendly mines and run right over them.

My favorite trick is reading threads like this, and learning everyone else's favorite tricks.

I love being able to use the radar and distant sounds to predict where the enemies are. I've had some awesome times where I just go "Tank at North Bridge, should be here in about 20 seconds." Then about 20 seconds later, you hear about 10 people going "woah...".

It's a combination of using sounds, dead teammates on the radar (either the shock paddle icon as a medic, or if not a medic, all dead teammates arrows face due north when they're killed), and looking at the kills in the top left.
