Oh, as for all of you morons who say that jet and tank users do nothing other than work for their own score and kills, you're sooo totally right, I mean, killing your enemy means absolutely nothing in a war! It's sooo noobish! Let's nerf jets even more! yay!!!

i've been in a jet and answered to too many help calls from ppl like u. i come and help out and bomb the tank and accidently hit the guy who called for help as well...and what does he do? he ****ing punishes me for trying to help him.

same here as well, i'll nearly all the time make an effort to go after that tank someone spotted, i wont peel off what im doing but i'll go for it next and if i have no bombs, i'll strafe it, making it easy for 1 at rocket to take out. but if i do bomb it, quite often i end up with a tk punish cos a spec ops is running round the tank trying to c4 it
having people spot targets they want taking out gives the pilot a mission and i like that. :)

Its the people that wait for the tanks helos and planes to spawn i love easy kills there all there grenade in boom now there not lol.
Its okay to be good in vehicles but if you cant get them then you have to be good at ground pounding other wise you suck at the game its a balance you have to have be good at ground air vehicle not many are but there are some out there that rock at all they do in the game . (Before you start im not one of them )

You people who love your tanks and jets don't really give a crap about the team. You give a crap about your score and how much fun YOU'RE having, but then you come on the forums and lament about how it's only good for the team if you're the one that's in it because you're SO GOOD

All I ever see are jets bombing carriers and tanks camping the last enemy base. My calls for help are rarely ever answered by anything bigger than a guy with two feet and a heartbeat.

in a tank i have over 4 to 1 ratio but if some dork takes it and drives off into the woods oh well thats the way it goes.

your premise is based around who is better using the tank, i say that would be difficult to judge while actually playing

Before you all get in a hissy, Let me explain how I "roll" when playing armor. My priorities are as follows, and in order of importance.

1. Win the match.

2. Help my team anyway I can. Most of the time, it is by me being an Engy, and in armor. (I prefer the LAV/APC if I can get it)

3. Kill as many of the bastards as I can in the shortest amount of time. The tank, or LAV, help me kill you faster. I'm sorry if this upsets you.

4. Stay alive. I'm not any good to anyone if my tank is blown up, and I'm dead.

5. Score as many points as I can. Let's face it. If DICE is going to keep a numerical score, we are all going to look at it.

Tactically, I basically do 2 missions. The first --

Strike- I will take the LAV and go roll through enemy flags tearing up as much as I can in the shortest amount of time and getting the heck out. Anyone who is killed by armor will immediately come back and try to take vengenace on my piece of high quality armor. Notice, I did not say *camp*, because I do not do it when I am independantly operating in a forward area, unless I am doing the second mission.

Support- I think the MAIN job of armor/APC's is to support advancing infantry. If I see a squad that is moving/advancing/taking flags, I will work with that sqaud and offer my support with capping flags. I will "block" any avenues for counter-attack, cutting off any troops trying to get at the squad I'm supporting. This helps my team take flags, and therefore win the match, my primary goal.

I will avoid going into uncaps, almost at any cost.

Now, I'm as frustrated as anyone when someone takes the armor, heads straight down the middle avenue, and gets themselves whacked by the 4 anti-tank guys waiting for him. It's stupid, and it doesn't do anything for the team, other than tie up my valuable tank time. If I can't get any armor, I just shrug it off and go "pound" for a while. Although I'm not as gooda ground-pounder as I am a tanker. So yeah, n00b, please remove thyself from my holy instrument of death, and allow me to reign chaos down upon my enemies.

Yeah ok I'll admit that I'm a helicopter whore, and I'm not the the best, but atleast I help the team. If its taking out that tank fixing to take the flag or providing air cover for a squad, I'll be there, and I can usually get around 25-40 kills average a round...flying or gunning, taking that I have a good friend with me that also knows what he's doing.

But nothing ****es me off more than having those "blind" gunners and pilots that seem to pass everything up...or just casually pass by the enemy attack chopper without even noticing it and then it shoots us down...then the gunners that dont even bother to use the TV missile, and when I line them up for a perfect shot they ask me wtf am I doing, then pitch a hissy fit because whatever they were suppose to shoot just shot us down.

I have no problem with people that atleast try to use and guide the TV. But you have no business in a chopper if you have no @#$%ing clue how to do anything...sure I've been tempted to kill those idiots that keep getting in choppers and die 2 mins later or those that fly around aimlessly shooting missiles at the ground, making the chopper completely useless for the team.

But for God's sake, learn to fly in singleplayer. I swear there should be a licence test you have to pass in order to fly in multiplayer

I also admit that I'm not all that great in jets, but I'm decent, I'll fly if no one else is using it, but when someone comes up for it and I know they can put it to better use, then fine I'll let them have it. Whatever is benefiting team, is whats best for the team.

Now I'm not saying you should give a vehicle up to someone else thats "better", I'm all for "who ever gets it, gets it" but what im saying is that if you sink below the suckage line, then dont bother. Yes I believe that you got to start somewhere, but not on a full server...thats the same as learning to fly a loaded blackhawk and crashing into the sea.

if a n00b is useless with a vehicle and theres someone better around that can make better use of it then the n00b should give it up or be tk'ed, because the game is usually lost when idiots fly the planes/choppers or use tanks.

i see it every 2nd round (where i cant spawn first as everyone has already loaded the map) mr n00b takes the plane on oman dies in <1min and the airport is baseraped so no one can get a plane in the air and we end up loosing the game. similar things happen on other maps. not fair on the team is it ?

then the annoying low ranker that see's you waiting for a vehicle and comes to try and get it first (despite you waiting ages), if he gets it, he dies pretty quick and is back again, the enemies then have less people attacking them and start winning, you tell him your making our team loose and that your better with your 30-1 k:d or whatever and he ignores you. if its worth the tk then go for it :)

and yes i do give up vehicles if there are better people wanting to use it, but thats really only the choppers, i can fly planes great and tank fine. a few people give up their pilot seat in the bomber for me cause they know they will kill lots, get lots of points and rarely die, now thats great sportsmanship and teamplay imo.

i think players like you and fonnie should always play together on the same server on the same team so you to can spend all your time killing each other. and not ruining it for the rest of us . maybe there should be whore only servers knock your selves out little pinheads

I agree that people like Tronchaser make life easier for infantry like me, but most of the time they are too busy spawncamping. Im ok in armor, but not a person to be feared. Also, armored support also goes both ways. I will try to travel with armor as anti-tank and go vehicle killing for my team. But, if you dont get armor, so be it, and join the fight on foot.

That's just the ways things are.U can't change it.Can't beat'um,join'um.Jump on another vehicle and support him with AA/or suppressing fire.Any veteran pilot is going to take the tank out 1st as it's the biggest threat to his team.If U knock down the jet,well and fine,your teams better off and theirs is a bit worse.If not,he dies,U run away B4 the jet gets set for another run.He respawns,gets creamed again waiting for the tank,U drive up and get the tank.
