Wii ? headset ? HD gaming ? multiplayer good ?

sure its nice, i maybe buy it with starwars, but for multiplayer i prefer xbox 360 = everybody has headset and the system works nice, look to halo 2 clan support

Why even reply with a post about how great XBox 360 is in a thread about PS3? Is it such an injustice to you if us PS3 fans get hyped up about the system? We're talking next-gen consoles here. You're really not going to go wrong with any of them, so just pick yours and let everyone else pick their own.

Oh, I didn't mean you in particular. I meant "you" as in the group of people who post things like, "PS3 blows, XBox is awesome," in a thread about PS3. It's just trolling, if you ask me, and completely pointless.

I must disagree. I don't think anyone can go wrong with any of these systems, provided they choose carefully. If someone looks into the systems and picks the one that gives them what they want, they will be happy. And hey, give the Wii a chance. I'm sure it'll attract casual gamers, at the very least.

Problem with Wii is my rooms' TV is small and I don't know if I can really be bothered to stay up and swing my arms around.

Nevertheless, PS3 has MG3, Killzone, 18, GT and other games with unplayed formulas that can't be judged yet. So just because it dosen't have a big title whore like Halo dosen't mean anything.

i would argue that MGS4 (metal gear) is thier title whore and that looks really nice so far. and its the true home of gta and resi not to mention GTHD and tekken

im not even going to look at the wii ... i like console games coz i can sit on my arse with a beer and play them. if i wanted to flail around like a muppet with its strings cut i would go and join a martial arts class.

Not as big as Halo. Halo gets extra buzz and commercial backing because it's made by the same company that makes the system itself.

The big PS3 games mostly earned thier fame themselves.

I've heard lots of people have been concerned as to whether sony is doing the right thing - blu-ray is new technology, and if the PS3 is expensive, and blu-ray turns out to be unreliable, they lose out.

I retract my previous statement, i do not think the ps3 will fail. But i do believe it won't come out on top this time around. Sales wise. But in anycase, the ps3 does have great looking games comming. I mean, check out motorstorm.
