I also piloted a BlackHawk pre, and post 1.22 for entire rounds through crazy battles. My most memorable was Songhua Stalemate, i was trying to evade AA, back then i wasnt smart enough to check my rear view, lol, i ended up flying dead straight into the tree line with a full Blackhawk, in my insane manuver to save us all, i over corrected sending us all on what ithought was a for sure meeting with the ground straight down and backwards, but somehow i angled it just right, rocked like a cradle, backwards, and then off we all went forwards to capture more flags. My whole squad was screaming over the VOIP, but were overjoyed to survive, and continue our point extravaganza, that was pre 1.22, when everyone killed to be in the Blackhawk. Good times....

Capped flags in nano-seconds, hosed bullets like they were free as the wind.

I miss it. Promoted great teamwork, and saw the invention of the suicidal sky cow.

as a great pilot, i missed the great teamwork needed to get tons of kills in the BH, flying around in mashtur, trying to circumnavigate a huge firefight and line up my gunners, avoid taking damage and crashing while still picking up targets......sigh...... those good old days. i miss 'em :cry:
it took a lot of skill to fly those the right way and get lots of points. i guess it was OK if EA took the damage down on the BH, but nerfing the miniguns? what the hell is wrong with EA? i cant hit a friggen thing with those anymore. PLZ bring it back to the way it was.......

taking any chopper really high, spinning as fast as i can and rolling over to inversion while spinning upside down. i usually do it to people who have never flown with me.

and i usually ask them if they have their barf bag handy

I know how to get underneath the carrier in all maps using a boat... Doesnt help you but it is fun to do with friends. When you die your body like splits like one of those old rubberband man toys.lol

Yeah that boat trick makes the boat go a LOT faster. I usually do it on Wake. Funniest thing ever.
