I just recieved the Navy Cross today and I had under 100 hours as USMC, thats sweet, now it makes me look somehow l33t!!!! oh i forgot noone cares about the stats lol...

Was just giving your stats a quick glance-over, and it appears that with the new 100 Hour change, You should already have the Navy Cross and Golden Scimitar by now! You have well over 100 points, and obviously, we are now exempt to the win requirement.

Also, just another note. Interesting that You have about 131 more hours played than I, yet we have the same rank and I have about 1,000 more global points than you. About how many points do you average a round?

I just got Navy Cross, Gold Scimitar, and People's Medallion medals this afternoon after a short game.

Getting this medals is much easier than any class-expert badges, thats a bit wired imo. (I wont get them till my new VGA arravies a weak or two)

I got my navy cross with 246hrs played as usmc only 448 wins i was so close to doing it before they messed it up but hey ho what the hell.

Anyway, I had no idea that medals weren't awarded ingame. That really is a pitty! May I ask why? They are just the same as badges and Ribbons, I don't see why a medal wouldn't warrant a drumrole and ingame award! Medals are that most difficult to get because of the time requirements, I certainly would want to get an ingame congradulations!

Other medals like Combat Infantry and Good Conduct are rewarded ingame.

seems like service medal and ribbons aren't awarded in game... maybe they aren't worthy enough because you don't need skill to get them... just time.

well since these theater service medals dont mean much (not like the helicopter combat medal or the meritorious service medal, and few others) it is a good thing they lowered the requiremant so some ppl can ease up and forget ohh I'm soo near so I will play another 50hours to get the stuped medal.....

It appears that the best round 100 or greater is still in effect. The number of wins requirement has definitely gone down too in addition to the reduced hours requirement. I got the Navy Cross with 411 wins but did not get the MEC or PLA service medal as my BRS for both is just under 100.

According to bf2player.com they took out the wins, now it's just best score over 100 and 100 hours
