We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
OH NO, they are going to "dummy down" the awards too, after we worked so hard for them they are just going to give them away, now THAT is not fair, & is a reason to quit this game
I've been playing this damn game since it came out, I only play for maximum of an hour or two hours a night due to wife and brats...
My point is this there are many people who have no life and can sit in front of the box all hours and amass thousands of points, but to us average gamers and my friends all average the same amount of hours as me, the ranks are now not acheivable.
So you have a life, yet seem rather concerned about a virtual rank which has no real purpose or meaning? Anyone else spot the irony?
Ummm, I've played (according to my stats) an average of 3 hours a day. I don't always play everyday but on weekends I do marathons going into late night. I have a GF, active social life, yet I have 100K more points than you (give or take). Use the medic or the supply classes and if you do the intended position (revive/resupply) you will be promoted at a much faster rate.
Since the game came out they have restructured the point system to give "mere mortals" a shot at unlocks at a much more rapid rate. So please look at the old system first and compare it to todays and you will see that they've already worked on that.
What you all fail to realize (the first 2 posters) is that this is not an MMORPG where your ranks make you defacto more likely to kill your enemy...
This isnt World of Battlefield.
With a couple of exceptions the weapons upgrades are more toys than anything resembling overpowering upgrades...
All the people who sit in their rooms all day and play BF will probably know the maps better than you but even that isnt an insurmountable advantage...
I play this game because of exactly what you posted... I've got decent First Person Shooter skills, I'm able to learn the maps pretty easy and I can log in for an hour or two a night tops because of wife and daughter... and you know what? If I dont log in for a week and come back the rest of my clan may be a slightly higher rank and have a few thousand more "points" but who cares? I can still pwn their faces.
I've been playing this damn game since it came out, I only play for maximum of an hour or two hours a night due to wife and brats. I've not done bad and normally finish in the top five of a round averaging at the minute 100-150 points a session.
The problem is I'm on 13000 points, 7000 away from the next rank then the leap from that one to the next is 30000 points.
My point is this there are many people who have no life and can sit in front of the box all hours and amass thousands of points, but to us average gamers and my friends all average the same amount of hours as me, the ranks are now not acheivable. Ok so I've only got one unlock left but from that rank to the next is impossible. In the early stages it was so good getting the medals and ribbons and being the first to get the rank but now that fun has gone and it's just for hardcores.
So congratualtions to all those who have acheived high ranks at the expense of eyeballs and lifes but to us mere mortals please EA re-address the rank system or we will be off!
Rant over
you know what? nevermind..... look at your damn stats page, I feel no sympathy for you...
just stop playing for stats,Play for fun like bf42. Dont check the site what score you have just play,- enjoy.
I agree, i was planning to get to colonel, but im getting bored. So when i play with the team ill command, but sometime ill grab my g36c and cause havoc.

Whooaaaa.....now hold on a minute.....
This is no mere game we're talking about here, first of all. Allow me to explain: I was married with 3 kids and another one the way when I started playing BF2. 3 months into my game-playing I was divorced, unemployed and despised by everyone with "lives".
Can a mere game do that? No it can't. BF2 is a glorious message from above....seriously man...it is! The message is simple: exercise your aggressive instincts in a game. Instant world peace!
What people with lives don't know is that I am now the happiest guy on the face of the earth, because I can play BF2 24 hours a day with no kids, wife or anthing else to stop me. After my unemployment insurance runs out, I'll collect welfare. I've calculated that I can survive on 1 dish of rice/day. The rest of the money can go towards new versions of BF and computer upgrades to handle the graphics. To hell with family, work, responsibility...just give me my BF2!!:) :)
Wow...I feel bad for you if your want to quit BF2 because it will take you too long to rank up. I play this game to have fun...I could care less about rank.
