    Smacktard chopper taxis

What is the deal with smacktards who use attack helicopters as taxis?

Last night, I jump in as a gunner in the Hind. The pilot takes off, heads towards the far American base...and keeps on going. I'm thinking to myself 'he's getting pretty close to that mountain' when I realize he bailed so he could blow up their artillery. By the time I realized what was going on it was too late.

DICE should implement a system where the pilot gets a teamkill if his crew members die due to collision in unmanned choppers.

actually depends on trajectory.....it spins upwards when its hovering level....when it is in foward position (pointing down) it usually results in a crash

ive learned to keep an eye on the passenger name thingy that appears at the bottom, if you see it at all, its because someone has entered/left/changed seat, or is pressing one of the seat keys

Yeah...when they're hovering. Not moving forward close to the ground. That's not the point though. The point is that he was an idiot for not telling me his intention and using an ATTACK chopper as a taxi.

Thats not the point though- idiots should get a jeep if they want to blow up something.

well he they dont have to state their intention but is nice if they do, would also catch to see if you were paying attention :p

n btw its not just attack helis that are used as taxis ive seen jets/tanks/apcs aswell so quite a common thing

i thik the attack heli is the worst vehicle to do it with, because it is one of the most powerful air assets for your team, and in most cases requires two people....leaving the passenger to either crash, or to get killed trying to find a gunner....ive had pilots on sharqi bail out over hotel plenny of times, without telling me....its lame....i would have given you a ride if you asked, so i dont have to die!!

sometimes its hard to pay attention when you switch your camera mode, and are gunning....

you have a better chance of getting there faster in a heli than a jeep

I use helos, and planes as taxi's.................in extreme situations, when it appears no one on my team is worth 2 cents, and a loss is certain. Only then, do i say, our pilots suck, so whats the difference?

And that gives you an excuse to waste an important team asset so you could save 30 seconds? Right

Exactly. Making sure the pillot is still in the vehicle didn't register as a real priority. I guess I'm an idiot for assuming he wanted to use the attack helicopter to...ya know...attack stuff.

"Wasting" and important asset is not always wrong. At the round start or when your team as no spawn points on the grond using jets/helos as taxis is called for. There are several maps where you start by bailing the jets in a clan war.

Pointless A to B taxi is wasteful.

So when the pilot of a blackhawk gets shot out with an M95 he should get all the tks when the blackhawk goes down?
