The 1.3 patch has been in testing for quite a while now. A link to an old (and outdated) changelist was discovered by someone on the EA UK forum, and from there it spread to communities, forums, and BF2 news websites. That is the image that used to be at that address, and that is the image that has been removed. It was nothing more than an outdated changelog.

It wasnt old and outdated, otherwise it would have been removed from the site, not renamed, then after that password protected.

First of all SaladFork, keep up the good work testing. I have faith in your technical skills. But there is no reason to go throwing empty legal threats at some fanclub (battleturd).

As for your show, requesting that a person violate the NDA to provide you with information can get you in just as much trouble as the person who is violating the NDA.

HAHA we touched a nerve there Forkie huh? That is BS. JerryHopper's little podcast (no offense) has no culpability at all for saying whatever they want. From a legal standpoint, they are just guessing. If they do happen to hit the nail on the head, EA is not going to go after the reporter, they are going to go after the leaker. (see current news about Apple's pursuits to identify leakers as an example). The entity that DOES have something to lose is BF2RS. 'Trusted' status is easy to have revoked/suspended.

Not that I am saying they should punish anyone, but you really should have just kept your cool and said 'no comment' AGAIN. Is it that hard? Getting defensive like this makes you look guilty.

You've asked this on the BF2RS forums to, as you put it, "do anything to get to the bottom of this". You then harassed admins when we refused to co-operate or violate the NDA and give you more information. I shall give you the same answer you got there.

The bottom line is that the public (as an entirety) does not currently have, nor know, the up-to-date changelist. And all those who do know it, are bound by the NDA, and several layers of security which would make leaking this information be a very bad idea.

As for your show, requesting that a person violate the NDA to provide you with information can get you in just as much trouble as the person who is violating the NDA. Many admins would be happy to be a guest or 'secret informant' on your show, but we WILL not, and SHOULD not, give you any new information outside of what has been officially released by EA at this time.

NDA: Non Disclosure Agreement, meaning that you will not get anything by questioning on this forum. Please do not go any further trying to get whatever information your seeking because you will not get far. Have you ever throught there is a good reason why no one ever releases info reguarding stuff like this?

Neither you, nor your show, is going to get any 'behind the scenes' information.

I would appreciate it if you just DROPPED it.

no matter who leaked the file, it in itself is covered by NDA, all this speculation and arguing about it is not helping the fact..
