An uncappeble base should only be possible for SpecOps to enter when not in a vehicle. Otherwise you got 10 seconds to leave (like when out of bounds).
Imo it should be allowed its a part of game. Well for example , if theres a war and general gives order to bomb enemy tactical plaxes so called airfields does the enemy says ''hey its base raping u will get banned'' pull**** imo.
Its funny how people vote allow clearly they have never been raped 5 times in a row from an APC/Tank. You cant really not allow it to happen because they is no real way to stop it. I think the majority of the voters who voted yes are the people who do it.
No, the problem on Wake is the pilots don't defend, and a lack of leadership. There is plenty of firepower on the carrier to move everyone to a first island flag. The problem is everyone just runs/flys off in every damn direction to get to land or just get points, and they all get picked off one at a time that way. The US could go enmass to the 2 closest tank spawn flags if they wanted to, leaving a couple troops behind to defend each flag. They'd win the round fast. Very hard to do on a public server though!

I voted no, but I did that depending on the circumstances. Generally, I extend a common courtesy to my opponent, at least something I would hope he would extend to me.
One side starts with all bases except the enemy's uncappable
What's the point of base raping them? They already started with a disadvantage. This is why so many people play maps like Karkand and Wake Island. Just join the team that already has all the bases, then defend. Bad enough the map starts with the enemy's tickets already draining, but every kill you add saps them even faster.
You start out as the underdog, but manage to push the enemy back to their uncappable
Congratulations on taking all the bases that were either neutral or enemy-owned from the start. Your skills show that you can capture bases, but can you hold them? The best way to find out is to defend. If you are truly skilled, you can hold them off. At least by not raping their main base, you know that they will send everything they have at you. If you feel the need to carpet bomb or arty the enemy as he waits for a ride off the carrier, go for it. In my book, it's cheap, but my book ain't the Bible.
No sense of sporsmanship
Don't do it to them, and maybe they won't do it back to you. You better hope this is true on the maps where teams switch sides. Lets see how you like it when your first base cap is met with arty and the "clunk-clunk-clunk" of carpet bombs. Just cap your bases and hold them. Half the fun of the game is fending off tanks, helos, and infantry. You'd be surprised how high of a score you can get if you wait for them to come to you.
The only people that don't like baseraping are obviously pilots. Everyone else doesn't care and just wants to pwn defenseless pilots which if you think about it balances the game since the pilots are so powerful once they take off. I don't think uncap bases should be uncappable in the first place. What's the point? If pilots wanna have their mighty winged BFG9000 fortresses then they ought to be able to defend their toys as well. Pilots and general plane campers can then have a reason to stick around and defend the carrier while everyone else is capping/defending their respective bases. For something like this to ever happen though, uncaps will need more AA placements and TOW missiles, vehicles etc. The obvious difference between the uncap and other bases should be that it's more hard to capture because it's the most important CP on the map.
Here's my opinion on the matter. If you don't agree with it, it's not going to kill me.
I've been playing on the MoonGamers Mostly Oman server for several months now and have grown accustomed to the "No Baseraping Allowed" rule. While they still allow infantry to snipe pilots or take out assets, players are not allowed to fire vehicle weapons (or AA emplacements) within the confines of the uncapturable bases. Running people over with vehicles is fine.
I've played on so many servers that don't enforce this rule and it just ruins my game. How many times have I thought to myself, "Ya know-- if I could just get up off the ground in a jet, I could take care of this pesky enemy jet who keeps strafing us." Are there so many pilots completely concerned with their own kill-to-death ratios that they are unwilling to let another jet challenge them? I'd much prefer "earning" my kills via dogfights than by gunning down helpless infantry awaiting a jet to spawn.
MoonGamers put this rule in place because it helps people have a more enjoyable gaming experience. After all, this is a game not war.

I completely understand your point.
The thing is, I personally take pride and joy by wtfpwning people, even killing them on the ground, I don't care if its wake and its the last point and im US side in a jet and the stinger is down and there aren't any enemy planes in the air, I will STILL bomb you all day long.
Earning a kill? A kill is a kill, whether its harder to accomplish in different situations with different weapons depends, but to me, all kills are the same, you kinda get that YES! feeling inside of you, and then it goes away and you just want to kill more.
Like I said before, spawn somewhere else, and if its the last point, then its the losing team's fault....
Shooting down a jet in the air is fun, but to me, shooting him down before he gets in the air is the same....
I guess its a matter of opinion, every time im baseraped I just smile and spawn somewhere else, or just spawn in same place and go and kill the baseraper(s).
I voted for the 3rd point.
I'm very surprised that so much people aren't baserape-haters here: why is it even totally forbidden on most servers? I hate these kickvotings initiated by people which are feeling beeing baseraped.
not only should base rape not be forbidden, it should be enfored on the roe that servers cannot tell players what they can and cannot attack. every single uncapturable has commander assets and defences. ITS PART OF THE GAME DUMMIES!
