We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Is this any vehicle or just the armored transports i.e. humvees and vodniks?
Because if we are talking about dropping APCs and tanks I can imagine a big problem here. Imagine dropping a Tank with a supply crate on the sharqi tv tower with multiple mec engs just raping the spawn....
I get the feeling that it will be only buggies since those are common to all forces and would save some pain in the arsenessity.
Yup... I rather like that. Clean.
Ideally, everyone who chooses to spawn on that point would wait until the plane is in the right position for the drop before being tossed out. The wait time would serve to counter the insta "get there" mode. It should also have a reasonably lenghty recharge time.
This would definally make a vissible C130 model a needed thing.
I've of thought of that before.
Have the commander to be able to issue a HALO jump. He can invite/ask up to 5 people on his team for a scheduled jump. When the person dies and has to choose a spawn point, he will get a HALO option. If he clicks that, he'll have to wait until the commander okay's the jump.
When the commander clicks the 'spawn HALO' option they selected members will spawn on a C130 at a 1000ft just as the main door begins to open. The commander would be able to choose where this happens on the map.
Yeah, I'd caught that too.
Very strange. Dice just became fully aquired by EA, tho. With that deal done, policies are likely to change.
I was thrilled when I saw they were going to allow the ARS to stand. It could become a threat to their francise and continual profit, but I love the idea. This truely is anti-competitive. The wording is vague, so seeing what they are really going to do is something we must all wait and see.
It's about time they fixed that friendly vehicle showing up as enemy issue.. countless times i've bombed 'enemy' vehicles only to get teamkills, it's a hassle to type an apology and explanation while flying jets!

Could this threat to the alternative ranks really mean it is to ward off rank reporting sites like bf2tracker and bf2s? Not my idea, but a co-workers thoughts...
Added Deterrent system against alternitive ranking

If I'm reading it right, this is a step made to quash mods and force people to play on offical ranked servers if they want to make any stats progress.
This strikes me as flat out uncool.
Wargimp where are you quoting this from??? I do not see this on the published community update!
Is there a more detailed list somewhere else?
And of course it's VILE, but expected. EA is RAKING in the cash from over-priced ranked servers. That is why we still dont have an viable mods. They fired thier mod-liason, and he went out and told people in the modding community that EA basically want to hinder the mod-makers so that everyone sticks to ranked servers. The more success mods like POE and DCON and USI have, the less $$ for EA. That's what they are going on. This is just another step in that direction.
Whatever happened to being able to pick up mines and claymores? It was supposed to be in the 1.2 patch but they delayed it cuz it wasn't ready.. I haven't heard anything on it since.

never gonna happen now, unless dice had a clause were they remain the sole deciders of the content
since when have EA ever supported mods, geez they are a publisher & own DICE
Looks like a leaked tester document. .jpg format to help prevent it from being easly quoted.
They have changed that image already. For everyone who still wants to look at it: can someone please post this image on imageshack (or something similar) and then link to it here so we can see?
Trusting bf2rs to leave that pic up is like trusting EA to make BF2 mod-friendly.
