I know where this is going. You lame guys want the rules relaxed on official servers, so you can lame your way into the points race. Because you love laming on unranked servers, you just miss the ranking part of it.
Least thats what I think.

they all play on unranked servers...

the problem when you play on a league server is that they have to be passworded, once you set a state of svpassword=1 then the server becomes unranked..

You could always end your participation in this discussion. No one is forcing you to take part.


I personally would like to know why the ROE isn't linked from the game, when everyone that engages in play on ranked servers is expected to abide by it, and if there are plans to include it in a future patch, and if not, why not?

I have actually brought up to EA, that it would be great if they could setup ranked servers for clan matches, and it is being considered by them..

Exactly something I have said in the past. Instead of pimping 'Buy EuroForces NOW' everytime you load the game up , they could rotate it with a link to the ROEs every now and then.

I just don't see why people care so much about a meaningless game stat or medal that they would get all bent up about it when someone wants to do something different.

So what happens to the clan matches that arnt passworded? i mean thats easy to get round .. just have a higher amount of reserved slots or if its a 16vs16 match the server is full .., no need for a pass.., any pubbies come on during play they are just legally "kicked to make room for clan members"

clan matches on ranked servers happen all the time .. i know of 4 clans off the top of my shiny head that hold matches on ranked servers and dont use passwords. If a pubby comes in they are politly told that its a match and are been kicked to make room for members.

i understand how the concept of rules and regulations are new some ppl, alot of ppl dont get out much, and dont understand what is needed to maintain order, and fairness.....rules are apart of life, if you dont like it kill yourself

If I join a server and try to kill people with a pistol, well that is "working for a badge". But if I join a server and try and kill people with a pistol, and they try and kill me back with a pistol, well that is statpadding!
Its a crazy system where the only way to earn badges/medals is the way that the so called "community" (read IS et al) decides it should be.
In a world where I can get a damn sniper badge by flying a J10 around all day it is absurd that I can't get a knife badge by knife fighting

And this would be beneficial/profitable to EA/Dice how?

I just don't see why people care so much about a meaningless game stat or medal that they would get all bent up about it when someone wants to do something different.

And I don't see how people can be so stubborn as to not get it through their heads that they have the ability to do what ever they want as long as it is on an unranked server. How is that such a difficult rule to follow?
