to be honest, you'd have to be a real dimwit to play a game, as beautiful as BF2 is, graphically, and make it look like that POS hack screenshot.

Also JONES, how did you get that COUNTDOWN timer for the arty, on your screenshot. NEVER saw that before.

1st point: I agree. Why would you make a nice game like BF2 look crappy by adding hacks/cheats? I bought the game and a great videocard simply because it looked so damn nice. I could care less about the points however, I'm mostly in it for the win and fun.

i really hope your just posting on this thread to yank some chains cause honestly if 100 points with the hack is ur average your really in trouble i have mates that do that nearly every round with no hack heck even i come close to that and I suck...

Great, BF2 has the "freecam" function. Now why in the world didn't they implement a function to see 1st person what a player sees? I'm talking ala Counter-Strike. Admins would benefit greatly from this feature.

Ghosting a player via 3rd person doesn't really help when trying to decide if someone is wallhacking/aimbotting/whatever.

ok, you can now ban my TotalBF2 account.

Why would they want to do that??? It would be far easier to copy the IP you registered with and then grab the server logs for the top 60 players since you don't go near the top 10 spots and then compare them with the outlying areas and see who sits closer to the location of the registered ip.....

Or EA could make a nice neat correspondence letter requesting the ip address you used to upload the picture to image shack with and then contintue searching the top players...

Without these helper hacks, the wind from a passing jeep would own you huh? I mean thats what im thinking. How could it be any other way. You get owned repeatedly because you suck, so then you download or create a hack, to help you, so you dont get ownzored, or whatever the kids are saying today. DOnt make sense really.
To get satisfaction, killing other folks in game, using aids that no one else is using, is simply twisted.
I mean seriously

"DUDE I JUST KILLED 50 GUYS and only died 2 TIMES!!" I mean hell i can get close to that without helpers should I chose to actually aim for that goal. However to get satisfaction from using an edge that no one else uses, is really, a really wacky thing.
I think you missed something along the way in your education. I think 9th through 12th grade for you, to redo would be helpful. And im not joking.

I guess there's no use preaching to you about how your cheating ruins other people's fun, but what I can say is that although you may feel like you're having fun, you're only committing yourself to an easy way out of a game.

Sure it's fun to cheat, on singleplayer against the CPU. When you're playing online, I dunno, it just doesn't feel right to have an advantage over others, however I would like to point out that I can rack up as many if not more points than you without having to cheat. I've gone toe to toe with an aimbot cheater, I camped his arse so much he left for the next server.

Again, it's no use preaching to you, as I can already read your rebuttals (i've seen them time and time again on ecoders and other sites. You're all the same, calling non-cheaters "noobs" and how "lame" they are, when in reality, you're all making fun of yourselves.

It doesn't take a genius to do reverse engineering, any script kiddie can find out what he/she wants on newsgroups or other IRC lines.

You also say you don't care about your ranking, then why mention it and why rant about how mighty your scores are after a cheating session? Only a question.

Personally, I really don't care what people do inside BF2. Hack/exploit/whatever. Punkbuster may not be able to keep up with the most bleeding edge hacks, but a good admin can. Simple solution: don't play on servers that don't have decent administration.

AS to the OP.

Punkbuster can only stop hacks when they know about them. People will always come up with new hacks and PB will not be able to catch them right away.

They have to know about them before they can stop them.

bragging aside, i only score close to 100 pts in a round IF i\\\'m using knife or shock paddle. when i\\\'m using my gun or in a tank, i rack up around 180. plus, i die very very VERY few times.

for comparison, the current #1 player, {TA}FireStorm, scores an AVERAGE of 172.8 AN HOUR according to bf2tracker (http://bf2tracker.com/bf2_usercmbsta...422&bfmodid=0). i score that many points (easily) in ONE ROUND. plus, again, very very VERY few deaths.

i know, i know, i\\\'m bragging here but one of the posters above gave me a low blow when he said i must suck that much because i can only score 100 pts. using a hack. whatever you say buddy. i just hope that you\\\'re enjoying the game without hacks as much as i do when i use hacks.

i only said that i\\\'m in the top 50 to prove that i\\\'ve been playing with hacks for so long now that i\\\'ve EASILY gotten into the top 50. my point was PunkBuster can only do so much to stop all the hackers/cheaters. sometimes, i even have to STOP using hacks during a round! i mean, if i don\\\'t do that, i\\\'d probably score 400 pts and die only 10 times while the next guy on my team only has a total of 50 pts.

also, because of this, i have a VERY GOOD win:loss ratio. my team almost always wins and my commander gets a bunch of points!

again, if you\\\'re not using hacks, GREAT FOR YOU! i am, and i\\\'m having FUN using it! isn\\\'t it the point of playing video games? to have FUN?!?!?!?!

Anyone who hacks for anything other than the challenge of creating the hack has low self esteem. What is the point of cheating in a virtual world to win? No money, fame, or women come from it so what is the point? So you can say "HA PWNED" in the chat window? What do you say when you get killed? If you need to cheat to feel like a winner, you are the biggest loser out there.

If everyone in a game were cheating except for you. . . or all their hacks were better than yours then I garauntee, especially for you because you need to use cheats in order to have fun, you wouldn't be having much fun.

When everyone else has an unfair edge on you it takes away from the the fun of the game for most people.
