I don't play for nothing. I payed $50 for this game. Did I spend my money to obey someones personal rules that don't make sense? The only rules that everybody should go by are the ROE. Plenty of times I've been kicked for killing the admins too many times, or for catching clans and the admins stat padding on their own servers. So don't give me that crap. No basereping rule should not apply if you take all of their flags. Am I suppose to wait and let them cap one of our flags, before I can continue to attack???? The whole concept of being able to play only on private servers with admins like yourself that can make up their own additional rules on top of ROE is ridiculuous.

I agree theres also an easy solution to arsehole admins, play on EA pub servers then you can rape all you want and no admin will kick you. Me personally I avoid all clan servers for exactly the reasons outlined.

read what I put in my post namely the quote from the ROE privately rented (clan) servers are allowed to make and enfore that rule if you don't like it rent your own server at YOUR cost (multiPlay can provide you one for £218.50 debranded for 3 months thats what most clans pay so you can play on their server for no additional cost from the game ) which is what I am referinng to) or play on the offical EA servers you know the ones full of kids who TK for a plane, or jump out infront of you so they can punish you etc, and my comment was for being kicked for base rape not the other things you have decided to add in your last post, so thionk about your post of " I paid $50 to play the game" sinse this game has come out I have rented a ranked server at my cost so people like you can play on a ranked server for a little $50 and you spit your dummy out of your pram because an admin kicks you for base rape which again I point out to you he can acording to the ROE if you are still not sure that he can do it the link to the ROE is in my 1st post and the relevent bit is in bold

I totally agree with base raping not being allowed, but not if my team captures all of the enemy flags. That should be an exception from the base raping rule. And btw I think you got robbed, since ranked servers can be found for as little as $96 a month.

that server wont be much use to people in the uk as people over here would get crappy pings and I don't mind paying for a quality server as you get what you pay for I could get cheaper but they give crap service and as for this

you do what the server rules say or you get kicked then come on to forums like this and moan about admins kicking you for enforcing their server rules

heh I have Been Banned for That It was on SF Ghost Town all flags were captured T-90 and Tangustka was Raping British Base i was assault and shoot ppl i think i shot admin 2 times so he ban me...

depends on your point of view many clans that have been playing the battlefied series for years have used this rule and their has never been a problem with it before, it seems IMO that the people comming into the battlefield series that have a problem with it

I don't know about that.. I've been playing BF games for a long time and it's part of the game. Either learn to adapt (duh! why did I let them do that?), or loose. These new rules (that EA didn't make up) are silly.

Heck I just got kicked from a server for using claymores... it's getting silly.

I was playing BF1942 and BFVietnam before BF2, and I don't remember this rule, especially not when I take all of your flags. So after all it's a new rule which I still totally agree with, but once again, it shouldn't apply when I capture all of your flags. Enforcing stupid rule that majority of the BF2 community don't agree with only tells how confident of a player you are, inspite of your "experience playing battlefield for years". I guess you are the one that's moaning when your base is being raped after loosing all of your flags, and the only thing left to do for you is kick. But fortunately there are plenty of servers out there, and some admins do have common sense even when they are lousy players.

Baseraping annoyed me alot in the beggining since I died so much because of it, but now I avoid it, by spawning at a different point like on Sharqi I don't spawn on top of the radio station, or rarely do. What I really hate is servers that say no base raping allowed, when the clan that owns the server is doing the raping, but as soon as it gets done to them the banning begins. I think baseraping is just in the game, deal with it, I mean all you can do is try deter it or eliminate it, I mean I have seen the MEC heli hover outside the USMC radio station and rape constant for like an hour racking up well over 100 kills for the gunner, now its pointless doing that for the whole round, but for the USMC, they should not spawn on the radio tower, they should spawn elsewhere, so the baseraper doesn't get the chance to rape the base.

If baseraping is not allowed, then just defend the closest flag. I cant see the problem. I know how a problem is created: one or two people decide to rape the uncap, then next minute, you got the whole frigging team doing it.
Im easy. Base raping is fun with a few boys. But if its not allowed, then chill out of your score and wait for them to come. Its much more satisfying to say they just couldn't cap a flag and we didn't base rape.

sorry grovedob I did not realise that you spoke "majority of the BF2 community" I must have missed the polls that you ran or do you work for EA and have access to all the emails that they are sent? I have been playing Battlefield since 1942 came out and the "no base camping rule" is far from new, and as for "how confident of a player" I am you do not know what sort of player I am nor do I know what sort of player you are so don't jump to assumptions about players you don't know, what I will say is I play for fun not to stat whore like some players do. you say "fortunately there are plenty of servers out there" hopefuly you will read the server rules when you join these or else you will have to come back here and put a "I been kicked by a nasty admin" post on this forum again

Eteral-Soulkah don't jude all clan servers by the ones you have been on by your comment "What I really hate is servers that say no base raping allowed, when the clan that owns the server is doing the raping" as not all are like this most are good people who just want to play the game and have fun and are admined properly, like xpnl said if you don't like servers that don't allow base rape then don't go on those servers that way you can play to the rules that you like, and admins like me wont have to kick you for breaking the server rules thus both are happy

I got caught out by a no fly zone area tonight, couldnt quite understand it cos if it says lock you shoot rather than wip out the gps. But fair enough, those was the rules and they diddnt kick for it, although id have felt quite justified in earning a ban via language abuse given the admin reaction of essentially 'isnt it obvious'- when evidently not. No uncaps is easy but having chased a plane accross a map it seemed a bit like letting someone go to a supply crate in the middle of an exchange.
My usual server used to be a free for all on un caps but a certain player would just constantly bomb them and it spoilt the game. Im not saying people would spawn rape generally but you could freely travel to and borrow planes or squads take out assets. It wasnt a problem when 'he' wasnt about as it just gave a possibility. Unfortunately the player that ruined things couldnt just be banned for spoiling the open battlefield as thats against the t&c's so they simply changed the server rules so they could- as far as i can tell. Gameplay remains basically the same but little point in sending a squad to an uncap for asset destruction, fair enough people used to die as at any contested flag but no one felt the need to hang around after the job was done since capable flags are more important to winning. It does depend on the regulars, a server full of master seargents tends to be a safe bet since they have demonstrated that they really want to play rather than earn points.
Sadly my usual does feel like a clone these days which kinda takes the point out of avoiding EA land.
