Kicked for base raping

I was playing Ghost Town. We took all of their flags, and their base was the only direction I could go, if I wanted to score points. I killed the admin 4 or 5 times there, and next thing you know, I got kicked for "base raping". I never base rape when the enemy has flags that I can attack.

Ahh yes, suckage, personally I could care less about baserapers its part of the game, but when its the only flag left....what an idiot admin go play a diff server, moders ghost town 24/7 is a great one...

yea what an idiot admin how dare he put rules for a game on a server he pays for so that you can play on for nothing, and even more he can do it within the ROE

3 LOCAL (PRIVATELY RENTED) RANKED SERVER RULES MODIFICATIONS

These are rules that are not enforced upon in EA’s public ranked servers but may be modified in privately rented ranked servers. These rules are decided by clan administrators for those servers and as long as they do not contradict any global rules enforced by EA are considered valid for those servers.

This would include but not limited to:
§ Artillery fire or bombing runs on main (uncapturable) bases may be prohibited.
§ Prolonged or sustained attacks on main (uncapturable) bases (i.e. spawncamping).
§ Using the Transport Helicopters to take flags (Blackhawk whoring or flag hopping).
§ Impersonating clan members.
§ Using C4 on jeeps, or other fast moving vehicles to take out other vehicles.
§ Clans may change or customise rules, provided they don’t violate the above ROE rules.

I suggest that when you go on a server read the server rules they nearly always flash up on screen every few miniutes and stick to them that way you wont have to come on here and moan that you were kicked for breaking server rules, yes I do admin a server (not the one in question) and yes we do kick for baseraping we have the no baserape rule to make it fun as it's no fun to spawn, die, spawn, die because of some stats whore attacking a fixed base our server is nearly always full and by players of all abilitys who want to have fun, not worry about their stats

I just don't get it why so many ppl think baseraping is such a great and fun thing and that it should be everyones civil right. Most of the time they will come out of their uncappable main if u just wait for 15 seconds.

Why is that everyone asumes that all server rules are the same, if all flags are captured basecamp. Check with admins , ask them what the rules are , just dont asume and get kicked for it.

Being an admin going to the uncap is wrong anway. what fun is it when you sitting there waiting for folk to spawn, great way to get points takes an experienced player for that.:evil:

I hate going into servers that do allow it. if we have only the uncap left and folk are inside the base i just dont spawn, im not going in to give someone 2 cheap points.

when the game is loading it sometimes tells you if its allowed or not, if its says, no spawncamping, basecamping it means that even if you have all the flags or not. if it said, basecamping is allowed if all flags are captured then go for it, if it doesnt say anything, ask admin. they would be happy to help.well in most cases

i admin our clan server with the no base raping rule, the main point of it is so other people can have fun and have time ton set up a massive attack on one of the OPFORS flags, and ive seem som really good team attacks while playing this way :)

What are you going to do let them come back and try and cap the flags i say hell no to that if they are crap enough to let you cap all flags they deserved to be raped:laugh:

If u already got all the flags then u propably will win anyway. If u wan't to have a good K/D it's not even smart to go to their main base (at least not on foot/ in a ground vehicle) where enemies are spawning all around you.

Let them play the game and remember that if u kill them while they are capturing a flag u get 1 extra point for each. It's much easier to defend than to attack anyways, especially when u know where the enemy is coming from.

It's so much more staisfying to kill a bunch of enemies that think they are about to cap a second flag for their team, than to kill someone who's waiting for a transport to spawn on a carrier deck.

Yeah learn the servers and go to website forums of servers. Age is the main factor of admins like that. Get to know that you are playing good servers with mature admins and not them ****y little kids kicking because they cant get a gold star.

I don't play for nothing. I payed $50 for this game. Did I spend my money to obey someones personal rules that don't make sense? The only rules that everybody should go by are the ROE. Plenty of times I've been kicked for killing the admins too many times, or for catching clans and the admins stat padding on their own servers. So don't give me that crap. No basereping rule should not apply if you take all of their flags. Am I suppose to wait and let them cap one of our flags, before I can continue to attack???? The whole concept of being able to play only on private servers with admins like yourself that can make up their own additional rules on top of ROE is ridiculuous.

read what I put in my post namely the quote from the ROE privately rented (clan) servers are allowed to make and enfore that rule if you don't like it rent your own server at YOUR cost (multiPlay can provide you one for £218.50 debranded for 3 months thats what most clans pay so you can play on their server for no additional cost from the game ) which is what I am referinng to) or play on the offical EA servers you know the ones full of kids who TK for a plane, or jump out infront of you so they can punish you etc, and my comment was for being kicked for base rape not the other things you have decided to add in your last post, so thionk about your post of " I paid $50 to play the game" sinse this game has come out I have rented a ranked server at my cost so people like you can play on a ranked server for a little $50 and you spit your dummy out of your pram because an admin kicks you for base rape which again I point out to you he can acording to the ROE if you are still not sure that he can do it the link to the ROE is in my 1st post and the relevent bit is in bold

The solution to base raping an uncapturable flag is rather simple:

1) If you are on a server that prohibits base raping:

a) Defender of raped flag - don't spawn. Let the points run out. Get to a new map. Complain to the admin to get the raper(s) booted.

b) Attacker of raped flag - hope you do not get booted. Move to another server if you do. If idiots keep spawning, work up your K/D until you are booted full well knowing it is against the local server rules.

2) If you are on a server that does not care about base raping:

a) Defender of raped flag - don't spawn. Let the points run out. Get to a new map. Work on your strategy or bounce to another server.

b) Attacker of raped flag - If idiots keep spawning, work up your K/D because you are allowed to.

I like the Moder's servers as they say up front that some base raping is allowed. Rules are what they are. If the server said no base rape and you got booted, it should come as no surprise. Move on... nothing to see here lol.
