Re: How to survive in an f-35b

i never said j10 is impossible. my first post explaining how to rape the airfield to keep the plane out of commission. insists that you kill the first j10. if it were impossible then why would i say that.

Now im definately not pro. MAYBE experienced. Its just. J10 pilot all he has to do is hit flares and turn and keep doing loops for awhile. the f35 is guarenteed to looseview of you pretty quick. and after like 5-6 loops if he kept going in loops. your now on his tail and he's screwed. if he runs. you'll see him running and you follow. f-35 just doesnt have a chance.

now in 1.12 all you had to do is get in a turn and the missles cant hurt you. so its guns and guns take skill. making dogfighting fun. and if someone gets behind you. all you need to be doing is a tight turn and he also cant missle you. so its all based on guns and skill.

Missles now turn like crazy. Therefore there is no dodging. So the way to save your ass is to drop flares and do a turn and such so the enemy cant relock. But the problem is that j10 is more manueverable and will always follow you. and if your the j10. all you do is a tight turn and they cant follow you. so in essence. j10 is god. add on top of that. the lock on time. Its just sad.

Now lets predict. How will DICE/EA go about fixing this obvious problem?
My bet is that instead of correcting A2A and leaving ground2air the same. They will just make all the planes Generic carbon copies. Now this just isnt going to be good at all.

A very useful flight maneauvre if you're having a 'circle chase': Do a looping. If they keep going in a circle and you time it right you end up straight on their tail :)

As for a fix, I hope they bring all jets up to the level of the j10 rather than vice versa. Maybe make the AA (not a2a) a little better against jets too.

You can't out-meaneauvre a j10 purely by cornering. Without missles, my favourite way is to do lots of small turns using barrel rolls to change direction quickly. In the end, most people will judge your next turn wrongly giving you a chance to get away. With missles, I'll try to get my enemy a little closer on my tail just so I can break the lock easier (If they're further away it doesn't matter how you fly - they'll still be able to lock on to you. Whereas if you're closer, you can slip out of lock quickly). Just turn as sharply as you can and force your opponent to guess where you're going to go next.

MOBB you post looks very informative but is there any chance you can edit in some paragraph breaks to make it easier to read? Thanx! :)

Doh!!! sorry about the paragraphs, got a little carried away with what was supposed to be a few short phrases. I'm going to post a flight guide this upcoming week for this game (with paragraphs) . I'd like to see better pilots in the air on a regular basis and I'd like to help to the best of my ability with that.

As far as dice and EA fixing the bugs in this game, I hate to accept the fact they dropped the ball, it rolled down the hill and into the neighbors yard... It's frustrating to think that the patches are not released in timely manner nor do they fix issues, but rather create more issues. I dont want to name call, I'm simply stating what has, unfortunatly, already happened and I for one will be more than happy if EA and/or Dice decide to put forth a concerted effort to fix these bugs, but a simple play test would have told them that these issues were not resolved.
