But hey I'm biased, I sold my WoW account when I quit.(it was taking too much of my time, and I was looking for something that I could pick up and play, and drop it just as quick)..and plus the GF seems to like BF2 :p..and I wanted to go back to my FPS roots, Quake, CS, Unreal.

I have no issue with someone wanting to make money.
The issue here is he's selling property that is not his. He's stealing AND he's advocating a circumvention of normal gameplay and character progress.

I'm not tattle-tailing, I'm supporting the RoE and ToS of a franchise that I've put many years into. It's people like this who are ruining it.

You are still a tattletail. I don't care how you try to paint yourself out of that corner. You are now the thief aswell; you owe the person that paid for that account $600.

As said earlier, really, just stay out of it do-gooder. I still have my jinx on you! Karma comes around one way or another. Reporting stat padding is one thing, but reporting someone that burned hours of their life way is just wrong in itself. People should be allowed to release their account in anyway they want. It is laughable how Diablo, WoW, and I guess Everquest got crazy with the online greymarket, but to just outright sell your work and effort, I see nothing wrong with it.

Ya, there is a community that gets shortchanged when people do this, but really, who gives a ****?! This was his work, not EA or DiCE. He put the hours in and it is he whom should be able to sell is time. The Developer made their money from the purchase of the ebay account seller and the ebay account buyer. Both purchased a copy of BF2.

EA have already commented serveral times on forums that they dont reccomend you sell your account BUT they wont do anything about it either. How does this even effect you enough to go crying to bf2rankedservers???

I think its dumb for someone to pay money (especially that much) for a BF2 account, but it dosent actually effect anyone, so where the problem? .... or carry on crying and making a fool of yourself, its all good...... :laugh:
