What really amuses me is IF (not when) the stats on that account get reset, the seller will have a BIG bunch of negatives on his ebay record for causing them to lose money AND what they actually paid for - STATS!Comment

what kind of loser would spend money on stats.. $600...WTF?
I need $100 to replace the tubes in my amp.... $60 to get a footswitch for my amp that the dumbass store didnt give me... and I also might sell my amp soon and get a new one (around $2,000).
stats are fake...virtual.... in the computer... why would you spend money for an online reputation...Comment

While they don't recommend it, they don't prohibit it either, and they therefore never ever take any action against it. Many accounts have been sold before and many more will be. As for the high price, well it's free market, demand and supply, and I supplied a very good product.

Yeah i have to agree for once with 'teh' - EA or DICE (and sometimes admins if my info is correct) can take away those stats so fast its not funny. Of course they wouldnt - or more to the point - wont do it for another couple months. But the point is they have absolute power over the stats. Its not worth the risk paying so much for something that can simply vanish.
What if the stat resetters (sp) get it wrong one day and boom! The stats are gone?Comment

I can understand someone buying a character in an MMORPG online, because they'd be levelled, more powerful, have good equipment, etc. But in BF2, aside from weapon unlocks and commander consideration, you get bubkes from a high-ranking account, and as much as I enjoy using some of the unlockable weapons, they certainly wouldn't be worth almost $700. o_O
But at any rate congrats on your windfall, matesusa!
Edit: Ah, I see you're from Seattle, my neck of the woods! Boy people up here sure know how to make a buck, eh? Microsoft, Boeing, Nintendo USA, and now BF2 accounts.
