the funny thing is the more i go without playing it the more i want to play it sometimes. like for instance i havent played this whole week and im dying to play now but alas im going out of town to watch the UFC fight on PPV. the funniest time i have had in ahwile is when me and 2 of my friends played together in a squad and we decided to go mess with the commanders assets. so one was a medic the other support and myself spec ops. u talking bout some fun. i would blow up the atrillery my friend would give me ammo and when i died or support guy my frined would revive us. more or less unstopable. we had fun b/c we were just goofing around.

How did you even manage to get 20k points for 1SG? I still need another 3000 for the damn L96A1 and I'm bored sick of the game.

like i said it took me around a year to get close to 30k. i play alot on the weekends and and bout 2 hours during the week only b/c i work and go to school full time.

I think most of the guys that can get to 50k real quick are those who don't have a girl or kids, or a full time job, like myself.

I'm almost there. 4,500 points to go. I felt the same when I was first promoted but I like the game so I kept playing. Lo and behold all of a sudden I'm pretty damn close.

If you like the game just play. Before you know it you'll be getting pretty close, and the good thing is the next rank is not far at all.

Yeh , the majority who are up the top of the rankings either whore the jets or the tanks , simple as that.

i tend to get more points when i am just playing and not thinking about points or anything. looking at my stats on bf2s it gives you an estimate for you next promotion, at my run rate i should be Lt in a month, next rank about two months, and so on. getting promoted every few months during regular play seems right to me. if it wasnt spaced out far then of course everyone would have high ranks and that would be pointless

man it has taken me bout a year to get 30k or well close to it. now imagine i have 20k to go for my next rank and i can imagine its going to take me about that long as the game is getting really monotonous for me. how did u guys with 50k and above make the long trip from 20k to 50k without getting bored with the game. dont get me wrong but i love the game.

I recently got 50k...how did I do it? Well for one I played a few other games at the same time.

But two, and the biggest one, you just have to get used to using every vehicle and kit in game and get good with it and play with friends too....when you get bored choppering, fly a jet, get bored then? Use some armor, then maybe go and snipe some....then try some jihad jeeping etc....

i did get bored. i recently got my 50k, but it took a LOT of work.

If you're struggling with a mere 30k then you have either a short attention span or lack skill.

If you are bored, then why not try a new map, a new kit, a new vehicle etc.

done that / been there / got the T shirt and its still t!ts !
