I got my veteran on Gulf of Oman by using the M95 from the top of the Essex. I was Chinese. All the people waiting for aircraft got a rude awakening when they got capped as their jets warmed up. That and sometimes you can get a claymore to clear the edge if you throw it right.

What do you mean by being Chinese in the Gulf of Oman?

The most enjoyable place to get sniper kills in and around the Construction Site in the Sharqi map.

The best place is Karkand. Chuck grenades at groups around flags. Look for squads flopped down prone on top of buildings for juicy knife kills! Look for lone anti-tank players that you can take out with pistol kills. Other than that, there a number of "high ground" spots that will glean kills with the sniper rifle. Oh, drop claymores by ladders and stairs.. always good for one or two kills.

Claymores will always take care of those people who spot you but don't watch their step when they're coming up to knife you. It's so funny when I hear a BOOM behind me, and it just said that I killed someone with a claymore. *snickers*

try using ur knife or pistol.....if u get 7 with either of those u will have a basic in whichever, and 7/10...two for one

Im trying to get all the basic badges at the moment.

What is the best map to get my basic snipe ron and where on that map .

Hidden in the home base with the commander screen open, and the mouse over the artillery button, while using the sniper kit.

about the armor/vehicle thing for badges, for basic badges , it's perfectly possible for every claa to make the needed kills as infantry .

but for the expert badges, classes like the engineer, sniper certainly need help of some armor or chopper .

classes like support, assault, AT, medic can get the 40+ kills as infantry

Any map is good...its not that hard. The quickest way is to just jump into armour as a sniper

Unfortunately yes, or then again, in a helo and get it maybe quicker. No sniper skill required, just helo skill.

An interesting and good sniping spot in Kubra is if someone blows the bridge up, you can snipe from the girderwork underneath the decking. :)

Easiest way to get any basic combat badge is as commander. You just need 10 artillery kills. Just pick the kit you want, then apply for commander.

Best map for lots of arty kills is in this order:

1: Karkand: at beginning of game, just arty near hotel. Also, when the front line forms at the water, when both teams have all bases on either side. Lots of arty kills there.
2: Sharqi: For some reason, Surviellence point always seems to have lots of people there, just arty them.
3: Dragon Valley: I just have lots of luck with this map. Best when you are PLA bombing USMC.
