Somwhere overlooking the two mine entrance flags would probably be best... I tend to see more infantry around those than at other points on the map. The nice bit about the sniper badge is the lower requirement for the veteran - only 15 kills plus 15 hours instead of 20 kills for the other classes...
1. You don't even have to shoot with your rifle. Drop your claymores in a strategic fashion near a flag closest to the enemy. Space them well r, like 20 feet to 30 feet, both facing toward the flag, this way both wont go off to kill one person. Eventually the enemy will take it and BOOM...BOOM you killed at least two people and defended the flag.
2. Find a good hiding spot near a flag that is near the enemy and wait for them to take it, then drop some hand grenades.
3. Hide in the open. Only the really good players know to look for you on a bus bench, lying on top of a car or under a vodnik, or standing on a phone booth. Remember if you hold your pistol until the last second, it wont stick out and give you away.
4. Use a semi-auto until you get good at the bolt action. With a bolt action the bad guys tend to run away after the first shot if you don't kill them.
5. Move after every shot or two. Never stay in the same place more than a minute.
I admire him for wanting to go about it in the right manner! kudos to you mate! I got mine on Dragon Valley actually, i am quite a fan of that map.
yeah same here - you could also find a server that is half full so the rounds would last longer. That would give you more of a chance to get the # of kills you need before the tickets expire.
I got my veteran on Gulf of Oman by using the M95 from the top of the Essex. I was Chinese. All the people waiting for aircraft got a rude awakening when they got capped as their jets warmed up. That and sometimes you can get a claymore to clear the edge if you throw it right.
I got mine on Wake 2007, the USMC capped the airfield and I spawned there and took turns running between the entrances to the airfield picking people off.
