We're talking about KARKAND here, guy.

There's a really good site out there (I think it's called of secretsofbf2.com or something of that nature) that shows you and tells you how to get to seemingly impossible places on the BF2 maps in a legitimate fashion. IIRC, a lot of the places that are like that on Karkand require parking a vehicle close to the building and jumping on top of the vehicle to reach those areas.

OK, there is still confusion about what I am talking about. It is the TALL Hotel building above the landing where the Hotel Flag point is. (Bottom photo, to right in poisonsoul's post above)

The Secrets of BF2 site - which is cool by the way - shows how to get up on several tall buildings , but does not show how to get up on the tall hotel without FF-off C4 tricks. In fact, it says that there IS a glitch which allows you to get up on the hotel without C4 ing a buddy into the air, but in fairness they won't publish it!

So, unlesss someone can post a legitimate way to get up on the hotel, or link to a previous thread which shows how (I HAVE searcehd for it) I remain convinced it is a hack.

Yes, I was able to do it in practice , just not in a game yet, but it is timing in your jump and I believe you must be looking down for it to work.

This is NOT the building he's asking about. He's asking about the building directly south of this building. The one that the hotel flag is at the base of.

hi guys all the roofs on karkand you can get on with the server having FF like i do on mine.
the hotel roof is the easyest,
theres a canopy behind the hotel get a vechile (not jeeps to small) an park it under the canopy,
jump on top of the vechile then on to the canopy then on to the roof.if you look straight ahead when up there you will see the little roof with the ladders.
now turn right an face teh hotel.
now just jump across on to the little box things on the roof.
when you reach the part by the hotel allie put c4 down all 5 to blow your self up on the roof.
run in to the c4 to give your self momentum keep pushing forward an press parachute just in case you miss.
do the same as well if you want to get on the building across from the hotel.

to get on the roof top by the train accident.
go to the side of the building where some players spawn.
put c4 again all 5,4 slabs away from the wall then just run up to it lookin up an press this will put you on the bigest roof on the map every time.
when up top on the roof theres a little hut there go prone an crawl towards it
this will put you inside the building,
also able to shoot out an the enemy not being able to kill you.

there is no way of gettin up there with out c4,
even on a couple of hackin an cheat forums its says nothing about gettin up there with out c4!
theres no glitch to get up there either.the only other way to make it look like there up on the roof is to use one of the wallhacks that allows peps to go in side builds,
an when commander does uav scan it will look like a person is on the roof.

may i say that i have read the ENTIRE thread!
if they are inside the building using a hack you can throw nades from inside,from the persons veiw out side of the building you will just see nades coming at you from above.

also what you have to rember alot of people add little bits to the post's so did he actual see them or just the nades an bullets comin at him?
there are no pics to proof this im not saying hes lying.
just dont take every thing that you read as gospel

They got rid of the glitch getting into buildings where you turn your sensitivity up to like 10,000.

But I think that there is a little window when you spawn, you put C4 on that one spawn, SOUTH of the hotels "entrance ladder"... thing.. its like next to a box.. thats what i'm guessing anyways because thats the closest one. Well RIGHT when they spawn, I THINK, if you detonate, it won't kill them, but it will send them flying up in the air.

I have never tried this...but i'm guessing that is how they do it.

Jesus, I really am losing the will to live reading this thread. Big thanks to thecheat for spelling it out to those who seem to lack the ability to read, even when it's been explained repeatedly which building is in question and that it's nothing to do with FF/C4.

Interesting theory metallica, although I'm sure I've read a number of times that there is a way of getting onto the high roof top next to the train accident without using C4 (invincibility window or not), and it doesn't involve getting inside the building. If it can be done there, then maybe it can be done at the hotel too...
