plus on great wall getting on the corners by the sentry towers to support the infantry that is pushing up the wall and taking out possible AT and SpecOps guys and the engineers, before hey can get off the wall spawn to get to your armor.

see, thats how sniper should be played..and before 1.2 that how i would play sniper, but i haven't recently because as soon as use the sniper kit ppl call me a claymore noob like all the other tards.

my best score with sniper was 43 kills 7 deaths... sharqi...

you would be in the top 1 percent of snipers, showing intelligence, skill and teamwork. 99 percent of the snipers i see possess none of them.

and i definitely agree that the pistol is great,ive taken out PKM whores 10 feet away in prone firefights, something that many machine guns couldnt do (cough l85 cough).

really though, try the SVD. i can almost guarantee youll do even better with it, its decent even close in.

Agreed... it takes a good sniper to be a true sniper... and the amount of actual "snipers" I've seen could easily be counted on one hand.

50 kills in one round with the sniper rifle, however, is just insane... and with only 6 deaths, that's even MORE insane.

Congrats, man, you're definitely an example of how the sniper class should be played. :salute:

Yeah I really help my clan in matches. People dont realize how vital snipers are esp as squad leaders.

You need more practise with the l85 then. Takes me one shot to kill PKM whores.

well i always knew there were SOME excellent snipers out there, i know this guy from reality (the only place that counts heh) who is definitely a good sniper.

really though, dont assume anything different about the majority of snipers, this guy is definitely a very skilled exception

i bet he doesnt get knifed too often eh?

and ive never liked the L85, i prefer AK 101, M16, G36E, and a pistol/grenade combination.

id probably have a bettre chance of knifing pkm whores than killing em with the L85, i just dont like it..

The key to surviving knifers is, well, two things.

1. Well placed claymore defenses

2. Listening. If I hear footsteps nearby, I quickly check my minimap to see if a team member is near. If not, I immediatly get up, take pistol out, turn around, and start backpedaling. Since the knifer is close range, I'm able to pull off rapid headshots with the pistol.
