I was considering the x800 and x700. Both are fairly good I've heard, but the 7600GT could beat them performance wise easily and could OC to almost a 7800, so I'm sticking with this unless something terrific comes along.

ANY more screenshots though would be nice, of the 7600GT or anyhting close.

this is an x800 on medium i believe

and this is it on high

fast card too, so if you got the money i'd go with this

they are pretty much the exact same price, but ill find some benchmarks

for farcry with the x800

for bf2 with the 7600 gt

cant find anything comparing the two, but ill look. you got a pretty close one here

stick with the 7600 gt. 106 fps is not bad at all

thats true well im sellin darkstar my x800pro for 80 buxs it is a really nice card and for that price u cant go wrong if ur lookin 4 a buget card get a 7800gt

both cards perform well IMO

Guys on that benchmark LilJimmy Nortan showed us says 4xAA and 8XAF. I know how to set the AA but how do i get the AF to 8x? Control Panel?

ouch, please dont get offended just because i saw that the 7900GT wasnt much better than its predecessor because thats lame. im just saying that if you are selling a 7800gt and going for a 7900gt, you'll only gain a couple fps and it wouldnt be a good source of money spent as opposed to buying more ram and other things like that, but im glad you said you could tell there was an improvement. i said glad it worked out and you kept spouting me rude stuff so whatev. i hate drama, let alone online where its supposed to be about fun so whatev haha

The 7900 GT is even a bit faster than the 7800 GTX so how can this be?

it varies depending on such variables like ram, mobo, cpu, etc etc... not all benchmarks are the same.

but ive heard from a few friends that the 7900 series isnt much, if any, better than its corresponding ancestor

i dont care i'd still hella take that over my peice of sh1t card that i got right now

my 7800gtx is better than the 7900gtx by like 4 fps so it juss depends on ur other hardware
