    Re: 7600GT, 7900GT, 7900GTX discussion.

We've already seen on these forums that ATI has better image quality. I prefer image quality and performance, not just performance. From what I've seen on a superior system at nearly the same clocks as my XTX I beat a 7900 GTX by a good margin in 3Dmark. None of you people arguing have any of these cards. It's pretty pointless. Why don't you guys argue about which exotic car is the fastest.

Just a note, these new 6.3 Cat's have increased the image quality even more.

I know that, I'm just saying if they're going to use an OCed 7900 they should OC the 1900 too.

            n1 Nvidia!

Looks like a great card, although, anyone who spends £400 on a GFX card needs help.

Yup, indeed it is! I hate these high prices.

But the main thing for me between the x1900XTX and 7900GTX is the prices, the x1900XTX is $857, while the 7800 GTX is about $949, the 7900 GTX will be more than the 7800 GTX is. So value for money, the x1900XTX wins.

Value for money, great performance, alot cheaper. ATi wins (for me).

If youve overclocked your XLwhy do you care anyway?

It should be included in the catalyst control center. My X800 Pro has it, even though if i turn it on it overheats terribly, artifacts the desktop and crashes.

Did u just get the overdrive feature when u updated to 6.3, or have u had it for a long time?

Intersting, when i got my Catalyst drivers (5.6) in June, i never had 'overdrive', and ever since i havn't had it, am i missing something?

It used to just be a check box back in the 5.x days, sometime around 6.0 it became a slider bar. Are you running an up to date Control Center?
