I'm sorry but your friend is a complete idiot when is comes to cooling. The 265 optys will run nice and cool using the stock heatsinks and no watercooling kit is required. Another thing, the x2 and fx-60 are identical, there is no difference besides the multi's and clock speed.Originally posted by maranelloI see. Well i don't know. Maybe i should just buy a x2 4800+ and not wait for the AM2s. AM2s will be so expensive. But on the other hand, i don't want to buy a CPU that AMD will discontinue to produce in 6 months.

Also i think i ll sell my 7800 Gt and buy 1 GTX or 7900 if i can afford, and i ll save some money around 3-4 months and try to get another one.Comment

Ever heard of a game called Quake 4?None of the computer games support Dual Core CPUs. and let me tell you, they won't be supported until after january 2007 or maybe summer 2007 or maybe more. Look at the 64 bit CPUs. When was the first time 64 bit cpus were released? 2 years ago if i remember correctly. There is not a single game that supports it (even though the owners of 64 bit cpus would benefit a lot - being a CS major, i can certainly tell there is a huge difference between 32 and 64 bit cpus). forget about games, even windows x64 doesn't have full driver support for over 80% of hardware out there.
