I know, but i think its pertinent that he gets nomenclature correctly if he wants to have a meaningful discussion.

Yep their the best you can get for sli. Have a look around and see if you can get e-vga ones, as their warrenty covers over-clocking

Lucky, lucky, lucky... But if you are leaning towards the 7800 GTX 512, then wait for the new 7900 GTX, it will drop the price of the 7800 GTX 512, and you can also then decide if you want the 7900GTX...

how soon are the 7900s comin out? i kinda wanna get stuff sooner...i got this sweet ASUS a8n-32 SLI delux for xmas...wanna get to usin it soon, but if the 7900s are soon...il probabally get one of those if i know when they come out

I wouldn't recommend crossfire soley on the basis that SLI is more tested and stable. I am not even going to consider crossfire until the RD580 chipset is released this February. Yes, X1900 XTX is the best card at the moment, but I don't recommend crossfire.
