Basically my computer but with 512GTXs instead 256, 2 74 Raptors and that's it. I've got a blazingly fast computer that will keep up with any computer right now.
FX-57 OC'd 4.0Ghz (thank you phase-change)
*FX-60 will be slower for single-threaded apps (ala BF2)
Custom Prometia MACH-II case n paint job
2GB hand-picked BH5 RAM (600-ish Mhz DDR)
XP-PRO (32bit)
DFI nf4 SLI eXpert
2x7800GTX ULTRA's (I'd bribe someone in the industry/press to give me there's... what, who said i had to play fair? )
If I was on a budget I'd pick up a pre-built water rig here!
Throw in a 1080P 40-50" HD LCD-TV (or for those of you who think bigger is better, a 1080P 102" plasma). The usual Logitech G5, G15 and a creative X-Fire. Speakers... we don't need speakers for FPS games, so let's grab a pair £9,000 headphones: the Sennheiser Orpheus'. Or Sennheiser HD600 if we wanna be more realistic.
Oh n obviouslly we'd b running a RAID5 array with the new 150gb Raptors or with U320 SCSI 15k rpm drives.
Oh and we'll want to monitor... hmmm... our firewall, MSN and BF2 forum activity while we play BF2 on the big screen, right? So we better throw in a custom AMD X2-4800 laptop from www.savrow.com (with or without the £250,000 diamond upgrade -I'll leave that at your discretion ). And if ur too cheap to go for a Diamond encrusted laptop we'll get it custom sprayed with Pearlescent paint!
Sweet. and I'll take two of everything so me girlfriend can browse Ebay while I play BF2!

As good as it gets. Though I prefer the MX518 as a mouse.

How bout the new G5, it's the new replacement for the MX518. Anyways, the preference between razer and logitech mouses are completely personal. I like razer ones cause they got a nice long and low profile, but many people think different. Also, i think i might change the mobo to the DFI Lanparty SLI Expert, the newest DFI mobo, it's in stock at newegg right now. It SHOULD be better than teh Lanparty SLI-DR, but i dunno since i havn't taken time to read reviews for that mobo.
Yea, definately personal preferance on the mice. I prefer the shorter, ergonomical feel of the MX518. Personally, I don't like how the G5 looks, and it doesn't have enough buttons, IMO.
The Expert has been breaking stuff for a while. Or atleast last I heard. It seems better but I would stick with the tried and true.
