i cannot get it to work neither, it boots me with a PB error. Also im getting this error..

Do you have Microsoft .NET 1.1 installed? You need that to be installed (or the latest version of the .NET Framework) for the DXTweaker to function.

I just wanna say that this tweaker thing is the best program ive ever downloaded to improve my gaming. I only play bf2 but its very nice to get ridd of the tearing i get on my tft.

This thread should be stickied or perhaps a new thread should be made with more dummy instructions that you can look in for help if it doesnt work.

Thanks blooduk and dont try to help the morons to much let them learn trial and error the hardway.

I'd like to know too. I updated to .Net Framework 2.0, but it still doesn't work. If I press start, nothing happens. When I go to exit the program, it crashes, with an error about memory access problems. Really dissappointing. I relaly want this to work.

Perhaps it doesnt mather but 2.0 wouldnt start the tweaker for me but when i changed to 1.1 it worked

cant seem to find the right version of dxtweaker. Keep getting booted out of the game by punkbuster (multiple 3d blabla something). The links provided in the startpost are no longer valid.

Anyone care to direct me (and others) to the right file? Thanks

Did you try the DXTweaker again with the changes I recommended?

I think PB kicks either because you have multiple instances of DXTweaker running or because you set projects to active.

All the little things add up. With your system you shouldnt have any problems you cant fix. Did you empty your cach? Its in my documents, BF2 or EA GAMES, Logo cash. It helps. . . . . .Red

Tis a shame I have to load it through WinLauncher. I could do with a frame rate increase...

1.haha I tested that hack with FEAR and it worx.
2.haha until now I couldnt play CoD2 cus of lagginess but with this hack I'm at the last mission now - SUCK3R !!

I tried this and there is no in-game difference because i dont know how to enable vsync. Wy dont you just fricking help me ok? Cant be nice at all and show me the way here? My control ceter does NOT havevsync as a choice to enable so dont give me some lame google link ive tried that and foun nothing. SO HOW DO I ENABLE VSYNC WITH MY RADEON?

I did help you, just search with Google and you will get the answer right away, I even provided you a link to Google. I think if you are unable to use Google you shouldn't even use a PC at all.

But since it seems to be the normal think here, just scream HELP HELP I AM STUPID I CAN'T FIND IT YOU HAVE TO EXPLAIN ME EVERYTHING IN DETAILS BECAUSE I WON'T EVER DO ANY RESEARCH MYSELF... you dont have to write that into arguments, cus its work without it nomatter what mr.********** sasy who cant even spell my name.

What's with the "mr.**********"? Well I wont publically flame you for trying to attack me. Also, the "Don't argue with a fool. They'll only bring you down to their level and beat you on experience." quote springs to mind.

But I will explain the arguments posted in the screenshot for the sake of others. The arguments used ("+ menu 1 + widescreen 1 +restart 1") are my own personal ones I use.

Incidentally, + restart 1 removes the annoying logos from the startup of BF2. Quite a nice argument to, use I'm sure we'll all agree on?
