that wasn't even a sentence. That wasn't even a conceptual thought. We all should I get a BJ form a guy? The only part I understand is that you apparently want oral sex from a guy who fills out forms for a living, and apparently feel the need to share him with us. That's awfully considerate of you, though I humbly pass the love to the left.

Nice price! It's just below 20$ in Sweden... And about 23-25$ here in downtown Tokyo(but that's in a really friggin' nice eplace)

Anyway, my widescreen LCD is capped at what? 60Hz I think it is, whilst my old screen was much faster than that. Still I dont get tired or experience any laggy motions - sweet. Probably a really heave gamer would but for the average Joe poppin' a few rounds every night it wont really matter imo.

CRT>LCD for gaming still. My 19in Sony Trinitron still beats out my LCDs in gaming. I didn't have to worry about playing games @ the monitors native resolution or ghosting. 1024 to 1600x1200 all looked great on my Sony.

        I own
Gateway FPD2185W 1680x1050 16/8ms (Sucks BF2 has no widescreen support)
        Samsung 172x 1280x1024 12ms
        Sony E440 19 inch

it doesnt really matter to me, but I spend quite a lot of time infront of a computer screen, so its healthier using an LCD, becasue they dont emitt radiation but for gaming it doesnt really matter, aslong as you have a good monitor it should matter to much

When I'm playing, I don't notice it at all. Maybe if I put it side by side with a crt it would show. If it's not noticeable, what is the point?

Technophobe? I'm pretty sure nobody on these forums is one.

You should notice it. Move the mouse moderately fast on the carrier on wake island, while facing the phalanx (AA gun). You will see it make a ghost trail against the white and blue sky.

Easier, move a window with icons around in circles at a decent speed and watch the icons ghost in circles. The mouse will do it to if you move it over a white screen area.

Not an issue with my monitor. Maybe you should invest in a better LCD and/or system.

Yes. Now that I am specifically looking for it I see some.

But I don't see it unless go and look for it.

As this poll shows: to each their own.

For a true gamer CRT all the way, unless you have a lot of money to spend on a top quality LCD.

If I had money to spare i'd go for a lcd, but I don't...
CRT's have better color reproduction, LCDs don't because they use neon tubes to emit light, so you can't have "true" black on a LCD.
But that and the native resolution thingy are really the only things that they need to improve on.

Re: LCD vs CRT... lets hear it..

I personally prefer CRTs, ghosting still occurs in most LCDs but the most expensive ones and if you keep the refresh rate high on a CRT, its not that bad on the eyes (mine at least).

As far as space goes, well if you reall care about gaming who cares about how much space you have on your desk anyways (as long as theres enough for a monitor, mouse and keyboard....and a drink...and food...and speakers...lol)

Weight...doesn't really matter, its not like to use computers you have to move your monitor around all the time.

I did alot of shopping and ended up buying an HP2335, which in my opinion is a little better than the 2405. The picture is absolutly amazing, and performance is awesome. Once you step up to a widescreen monitor you'll never want to look at a CRT again, ever. I have yet to have any problems with it , none of the stuff that CRT fans talk about such as "ghosting" or any problem with color reproduction. One thing to keep in mind , however, with the bigger LCD's is that to get the most of them you'll want to run at the highest resolution possible. My 2335 runs native at 1920X1200, which BF2 doesn't support, so I just run it at the highest resolution that BF2 supports. It still looks great, but to run these high resolutions takes some graphics horsepower. I run 2 7800GTX's in SLI on a AMD64 4000+ , and it runs it very well. Also when I initially built my machine I ran just 1 Gb ram while waiting on my new 2X1Gb Mushkin ram to arrive in the mail. I was very surprised at how much better BF2 ran with 2 gb over 1 gb, enough so that at these resolutions I would consider 2gb a requirement. Go widescreen , and you'll never be happier!!!!!
Dude, you have too much ****ing money to blow it on 2 7800GTX's!!

You must have some sweet ass gameplay.

It is not my computer that does that. It is the monitor. If you can't find it you are jut not looking hard enough.

It ceases to amaze me how many people here still don't know that ALL lcd monitors ghost... whether it be alot or a little.

It was an easy decision for me and basically I went with a CRT mostly due to price and this was about 2 years ago. Its great for gaming and everything else, but I sure wouldn't mind having an LCD :)

But if you can't see it unless you look really, really hard, does it flipping matter? Jeez.
