How did you make the money to pay for your PC?

Im trying to get a new pc and wondering how you guys got your PCs. Did you pay for it out of your pocket, did your parents give it to you, did you work for it...etc.

Im thinking of getting a job somewhere but I dont know where
For my current PC, my parents bought it for me.

You bought a crapload of google stock? Google stock is like 300 dollars per share!
My mom does stocks, she just lost like 4,000 dollars. Its no realised yet though.

I sold my old computer, I work, and the best thing.....EBAY your useless crap....seriously....someone will buy it! I got $18 for one old sock! haha

May I ask how you sold your old PC? I have a Dell 3 GHz, 1 GIG Corsair Ram and 9800 Pro and I want to get rid of it but I dont have the slightest clue to where or how to sell it.

For the record, I was just joking, I got a job, and just saved up until I could afford what I wanted. I could've bought some google stock, but I waited too long.

Sold my old machine then parents went 50:50 in the new one.

Mowing lawns in the summer.., ect, and shoveling snow in the winter... It pays. I should be getting atleast a part time job next year or the year after that though. And some parts were given to me.. wich i thank my parents for... alot.
