Im trying to get a new pc and wondering how you guys got your PCs. Did you pay for it out of your pocket, did your parents give it to you, did you work for it...etc.

Im thinking of getting a job somewhere but I dont know where

40 hour weeks over here, at ten bucks an hour equals one hell of a nice rig in 2 months. if only i didnt have schooling on one day.

Sell your old parts, build computers for other people and charge abit on top for your services and sell your old junk on ebay. and use as much as possible from your old computer and buy non essential parts at another time.

now hes sitting at home bored with his big amp, i had to let him barrow my ps2

also important, get a girlfriend with a full time job, so they don't cost money to you , because they can cost tons more then a dam PC .

I made a ton of money off my old machine selling it piece by piece and put a portion of each paycheck in the pile and within 3 months of saving and ebay'ing I had enough to do it. I also bought or got for free old pentium II and III systems from friends and family, then pull them apart and sell... you'd be surprised how much people will pay for old hardware.

Just yesterday I ordered a 7800GT and a new PCI-E motherboard. I sold my 6800GT for nearly $300, just enough for my free upgrade.

Well your mom owed me for the nights i kept her 'Company' so thats how I paided for my computer...BTW check and see if my underware are still under her bed would you?

Bought mine out a loan from the bank and then paid the loan off with money from a will.

Last weekend me and some friends went to a bar to listen to some band playing for a few hours. Guess what the tab was.... roughly 80 USD So, just cut back on drinking and conserts and stuff like that to get you that extra 100 USD you always wished you had when you pick up your new gear:)
