In norway the X1800XL costs about $616 while the 7800GT costs $493. The X1800XT costs $708. I like ATI cards but my wallet does not! :shakehead

No need for 512MB until another 2 years, and not needed also until Pixel Shader 4.0 is out.

Yawn, looks a little too late to late to really matter.

Yea, this would have been great news if it had come 6 months earlier... lol. :)

nice rig? but why not put a better proccesor, dont get me wrong the 374 is fine, but with the rest of the stuff it looks like nothing compare to the rest.

The 3700 is one of the best OC'ing chips from AMD. People have it running at almost 3.0Ghz on air cooling.

If you really wanna oc, get an opteron 144 or 146, they're only 150 bucks, and also go up to 3 ghz on stock cooling.

HOLY SHIZZNIT, the X1800XT is out. Only problem is it's so F'ing expensive. If it were only like 80 bucks more than the 7800GTX (because it has 512mb memory, not that it makes much difference, but oh well) i might consider buying it. ATi better lower the prices and FAST.
