Re: [Benchmark] Audigy2 vs X-fi Fatal1ty
Haha, around the same as the Xtreme Music costs for normal people
Anyways. Here it is. AWESOME.
The FPS jump was minimal I haven't run tests to get exact numbers but the jump wasn't HUGE. The sound difference though is AMAZING. Much more depth, more more realistic. Just great!
If I had to pick between either the speakers or teh card, I would pick teh speakers, they are AWESOME. The sub is HUUUGE. So big it can't be placed next to other electronics (big ass magnet = bad). It rattles my walls at only 1/4 the way up.
The card is awesome too. Especially for audio freaks. The front I/O Drive is nice as well. I only have 2 real beefs with the card. First the ribbon cable that connects the I/O Drive to the card (instead of rounded) and the other thing is no Optical out on the back card. I don't want to string an optical chord from my front I/O bay to my speakers. However this is made up somewhat by the fact that there is a coaxial connection that can be used. Otherwise its great!
