Good thing you didnt bet money. What else would I want five 80mm controllable fans for? Unless I live in a volcanic crater, thats just about the only other reason. I got the X2 4200+ because its dual core and I do some heavy technological "lifting" on my computer so it is really a necessity.

As for the ram question by Munchies, 2gigs isnt enough?

It appears you're only getting one gig of ram, not two. the price isn't so bad if the latency is good. I paid a little over $225 for a gig of ram x 2. It's 2-2-2-5 latency, ewhich is very fast. I got it from Newegg:

Seems it's now only $145/gig. I'd jump all over that!!

*thinking to self* Hmmmm.....wonder how 3 gigs would run?

You could use more RAM but you won't die without it, when you get some extra money make sure thats what you get. I have that hard drive and I have had no problems with it yet.

Wait wait. I originally had one gig but was told to run BF2 well I'd need 2 gigs so I put that in. You sure its not ok?

2 gigs is all you need.

Ok, I'm a little worried about somehthing. I got a 500 watt power supply. This is probably a stupid question but will that like overload my computer or something?

The speakers might not be great, onboard sound + onboard speakers might not yeild good results. Just a thought, doubt it will matter a ton. I WANT UR JOB! and ur new comp

Lol, thanks I think. Yeah I don't even use speakers much while playing I use my surround sound, Altec Landsing headphones so yeah. It means alot that someone actually wants my computer lol. As for the not "overloading" part. What I mean is, Is it too much power for my computer? Like will it have any harmful effects.
