Thats my basic build for my new PC. I want to know if everything is compatible together. For instance the drives with the case, the cards with the mobo and so on and so forth. I don't want to make it uberl337, I just wanna play BF2 reasonably well so please don't go telling my to put an extra 4000Gigs of ram in and a 2TB hard drive, I can barely afford it as is.

now this is just my opinion and nothing more. sure i've never been wrong but it is just an opinion and you can take it or leave it.

all fine i guess and it should all fit, most everything fits w/ everything these days. except you are wasting your money on you hdd (you're paying for a brandname), gfx card (its nvidia ffs), wireless (wireless = bad for games) and the cooling. unless you are into hardcore o/c a decent case will be all the cooling you need.

wireless can be faster than the wire if you get a good one, Nvidia is a damn good company.

                  Hey, glasseye was useful....

Yeah that was a little bit messed up before. Thats not just the parts, it's also a Deluxe tool set because mine was lost inda move. About the cooling, it is running next to several other computers most of the time because I do alot of repairwork for people and my room can get seriously hot so its just to be safe. And it has a monitoring station with the fan set and the perfect number of fans to fill up all the slots for no nasty gaps. Thanx for your opinions and help though man it is really appreciated and an extremely odd thing to see out of glasseye.

For wireless? Well I am supposed to be getting a T1 line run to my house within the next few months but for now we have high-speed cable line on a wireless and because of the shape of the house I get great reception so I don't think it'll be a problem. Only problem it might cause is running a dedicated server which I don't plan on doing anytime soon.

wireless can be fast sure. but the way it transfers data makes it bad for games generally.
wireless usually works in bursts, so instead of having say 512kb/s you're getting 3036kb every 3 seconds. thats fine for the net and data but for games you are gonna be lagging.

like i said the cooling shouldnt be needed but if the room does get really hot you are right that its better be safe than sorry. its cheaper to get a cooling hook up than to replace your mobo and cpu.
i guess i could look it up but how many fans does that case come w/ or have slots for? also what kind?

You do computer repair, and you have to ask if the drives will fit in the case...
