Ya you guys should get your facts straight before laying into nvidia :p The new drivers for nvidia will be out fixing the problem and its only about a 1% decrease in performance. Not 30% like you guys are trying to say.

its already been confirmed its 1% or less as nvidia released beta drivers to reviewers to prove this.

I have an ATI X800XT and a Nvidia 6800 Ultra card. I have run both extensively in BF2 with the same settings. Texture filtering on high, AA 2x, default high quality settings on the ATI and default quality settings on the Nvidia. This setting contains "the horrible optimations" (which you can turn off by setting quality to high). Guess what? The ATI card doesn't look any better.

When I had my old ATi card I seemed to have huge problems with drivers and the card had tons of problems. Of course this was 4 years ago, but I just haven't gotten over how simple and great the Nvidia replacement was. This is my personal experience but probably the opposite for others.

BS.....Let's see some Benchmarks...then make a decision. Gotta be skeptical of any site called the Inquirer....buncha libs.
