    OK.
Well being a DFI user I get alot of my first-hand information from the experts at www.dfi-street.com. There are some serious professionals over there who post extensive guides on the subjects of memory, overclocking and obviouslly: DFI related issues. A few of the moderators there are employees from OCZ who are there to offer advanced help with memory issues and DFI boards. They know their stuff! OK, I don't think you can contest their opinion, so without further ado:

tight timings? loose timings? dividers? 1T or 2T? 754 or 939? (read here!)
This thread explains in great detail 1T, 2T and memory timings. On the subject of timings: loose timings with higher bandwidths offer the best game performance. Obviouslly there is a balance. If you want that backing up then check this thread.

1T vs 2T is debated. With 2T you can (usually) run higher FSBs which can have a positive effect on your clocks and performance. Obviouslly that higher clock will yield better performance than tightly timed, 1T memory. It depends on individual circumstances and needs. That DFI-Street guide is pretty decent from what I remember and should give you enough facts to let you make your own conclusion. I think a 1T vs. 2T debate should be saved for another thread though :)

Regarding 1T vs 2T in 3D Mark however... 1T WILL universally offer more points than 2T. That's pretty much well documented anywhere you go. If you want the extra few points then 1T can help.

As for improvements in BF2 that is debated, but I've heard users on this and other forums saying they have had anywhere from 0 to 20% increases in frames when changing from 4 sticks to 2.

    Anyways. peace.

Maybe he likes using ISO's of his games so he doens't have to go find the CD's every time he wants to play a game?

EDIT: Got it to install. Having problems installing some programs. Maybe it's some quirky setting with my new mobo/videocard. I'm about to run '06 now. I'll do another edit to include my score and stats.

EDIT 2: Nope, still can't install. Weird. It completed sucessfully then said something along the lines of "Invalid bitmap file". Something about a bitmap file. S'okay though, I'm more used to '05 anyway.

lol do u know what that tool is? U dont mount games on that. i show u how it looks like.
That tool disables mounting protection like on Need for speed most wanted.
If you mount NFS:MW u still cant play it will say error so when u click hide it will remove the protection and u can play.

What is does is bypass the CD protection Safedisc 4. It is used by people who make backups of their software containing SD4. You can only use your SD4 protected backup CD if you have a program like SD4hider.

                                I'm just happy because I beat my friend's score of 4429, and he's running a 7800GTX and a Athlon 4400 X2.
