Finally got it to complete a run without either crashing the program or my whole computer with my cpu overclocked to 2.5, voltage at 1.55 (highest my bios allows). I just got a Scythe Ninja heatsink and 120mm fan. I'm new to after-market heatsinks etc so I put too much AS5 on at first. Still reach 50c during a Prime95 torture test, but typically hold steady between 45-47.
I've told you your MOBO will allow for over 1.55 volts.

Finally got some use out of my new heatsink/fan combo (Scythe Ninja and Scythe 120mm w/AS5), and have been able to get a solid 2.6ghz for the first time. So, except for having half the L2 cache, I guess that makes my 3200+ Venice the equivilant of an FX-55 heh. Anyway, my score is now:

Yeah. It was wicked hard to pick that tiny padlock on the corner but Lil_Jimmy_Norton walked me through it over the phone. What you have to do is use an cardiograph monitor and an ultrasonic spectrometer. You shock the hell out of the lock with ultrasonic pulses until you've reached the frequency key (You use the cadiograph monitor to watch for the tell-tale spike). The hard part is finding the right frequency. But if you wash the top of the cpu with salicylic acid then coat it with a mixture of vaseline and hydrogen peroxide, you can expand the frequency threshold (so your key frequency doesn't have to be an exact match), and then it's just a matter of time. I hope this helps you with whatever problems you're having in overclocking your own 3200+ Venice. IM me if you have any further questions or concerns.

Thanks, it's a windows vista skin with a Baron cursor set, and Mad B shiney black icon package.
