I just bought the MX518 about two weeks ago, and it's the best mouse I've ever laid hands on! This mouse has so many nice features, especially the easily accessible side buttons - and the sensitivity change! I jump into a vehicle, and in 0.1 sec I've got a faster mouse. I pull out my sniper, and in 0.1 sec I've got a slow, stable aim.

All in all, it's awesome! I bought it with an Icemat, and I've never experienced such comfort, with the teflon and glass.

To whoever said mouse & pad doesn't matter; you couldn't be more wrong! My aim is so much deadlier than before, and it shows. Extremely accurate aim isn't THAT crucial in BF2, but even here I noticed a big difference..
However, in another FPS game I play (Tactical Ops), the difference was amazing. I've never gotten such good scores in this game, and I've played it more or less daily for almost 5 years with 6+ different mice.

      I got a MX-518 yesterday and it´s a whole new world......
I find the resolution changes work best with tanks and apc´s
      It´s well spent money.

Gaming is a sport (debatable for some, but not to me). Its part skill, part equipment. If you have a souped-up PC and can't hit the backside of a barn, you shouldn't waste money on a gaming mouse and pad. If, on the other hand, you are already a good shot and upgrade to a better mouse and pad, you will notice even more improvement in your game. Primarily your accuracy and aim. You'll hit more shots at longer distances with less effort.

And the best part is i dont have to change the batteries every few days. I just put the mouse in my charger and all is done. Saves money on Double AA's.
