What kind of mouse do you use? Which is best?

I just had to go get a new mouse today cuz the old one crapped out finally... I decided to go with the Microsoft Intelimouse cuz of its ergonomic design, I was wondering if there are any sweet mouses for gaming specificly? (or is it mice when plural?)

Logitech MX518 1600 DPI Gaming mouse. It's great as I can adjust its sensivity on the fly whilst in game, especially if I jump into a Tank or APC.

go with wired.. wireless response is less than wired.
I got a logitech mx518. works real nice and has extra buttons on it that are programable to do other things while in game.

I use the Logitech MX 1000 too. I like how precise it is, and its a better ergonomic design than any mouse currently in the market. The only problem Is I have to charge it after extended use, I have to make sure the mouse doesn't go idle in game, otherwise there is a small period of lag when the laser comes back on, and finally its BAD for flying jets unless of course your tracking on glass.

Why? because the Laser is soo accurate it can track on glass 1/4 an inch thick and because it can you need to raise your mouse at least 1/4 " off the pad before the cursor or movement stops.

Any optical mouse with steady tracking is good, as long as its not a dollar store glittching like mad mouse the games more about how good you are at playing than how much money you throw away on the mouse. Spending $100 on a mouse wont make your kill go any higher.

I use Logitech Click mouse, $20 and works perfectly for almost 8 month now

I doubt it. The Logitech MX518 is hands down the baddest, meanest gaming mouse you can buy. The Razor pales in comparison to the MX518. If you want a good, reliable, solid mouse, you can't do any better than the MX518.

I own with the Logitech Mx-310. Middle mouse is jump, left (back for browser) is run, right (foward for browser) is parachute. Professional mouse, dont need any other.

A really good quality mouse/mousepad seperates the good player from the really good player. the guy with the smoother mouse, with more buttons at his/her fingertips has a much better chance of just being better. The less time you spend doing an action gives you that much of an edge. I went from the cheapy logitech optical mouse to the MX518 and func pad. It is amazing how much better it is, when i touch my mouse it moves like i want it to.

It won't gaurentee better performance but it DOES help.

MX-1000

I have quite a large hand so this mouse is just a bit small for me, I have to grab it with my fingers. I preferred my old intelli mouse explorer optical it is way lighter than the mx-1000. In saying that the mouse is very good, quite smooth, I use and Icemat2.
