I already owned a hard copy of SWBFII, but since It's a game I really love, steam made a good promotion on it and I didn't mind adding it to my collection there, so I bought it once more during the summer sale.
But then I remembered that Gamespy servers had shut down, and that I wouldn't be able to play the multiplayer. That made me a little sad
. Still I installed the game and to my surprise there is still a good amount of servers up, and I was playing without any issues. How come they are still up?
I'm not complaining, I'm just surprised :)
And no, I'm not using any third party software to find servers, no xfire, or gameranger..nothing. It's in the game serverlist itself.
