Hello everyone,
I am willing to build a rig for upcoming amazing games like:
Battlefield 3
TES Skyrim
And also for the games: Witcher 2, Assassins Creed.
Those are the kind of games I play mostly.
I am thinking of buying an Amd Phenom II X2 565 3.4Ghz Socket AM3 Black Edition OR AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2GHz Socket AM3 Black Edition
I have a budget of 300 bucks, yeah you heard it right.
I am thinking of a system built without a graphics card, mainly because the building process may spread to 2-3 months until everything is in its place.
So 300 US dollars it is.
This price includes:
Motherboard
Processor
RAM
PSU
Case
And also a little bit of a harddrive, not so important at this stage but I have to run it.
I could not decide on the motherboard because I want to have a motherboard that I can use for at least 4-5 years with CPU and GPU upgrades.
Basically I need these in a Motherboard:
USB 3.0 support
High heat tolerance (I will probably do some overclocking)
At least 1333 Mhz, preferably 1600 Mhz default support for RAM
8 GB support for RAM, more is ok too
RAID support
At least two PCI slots for SLI or Crossfire usage (3 would be better)
Few harddrive slots (2 is enough more is ok)
Core unlocker systems and such would be good too.
I do not know if it would be good or bad to have an integrated GPU on the motherboard, if its limiting the upgrading better not included.
So I need a tech geek motherboard like myself.
PSU:
Stabile PSU
Can be 450 Watts for the system we build now I can upgrade it later but I want it to be able to deal with an over average GPU.
Case
I need the case to be easily accessible with enough slots for fan and cooling.
RAM
2 gigabytes of RAM to start with but I will be adding on to these so they should be good for long run.
Waiting for your replies.
