I wasnt looking for advice or sympathy from any of you.. I said my piece just incase a developer or some marketing type happens to see my comment and maybe passes it along to those that do care what i think. This thread is about system requirements, well guess what not all of us will meet those requirements.

It was never about what it cost me, its the fact it keeps costing me over and over. I could go buy a new decked out PC right now. Im just sick of having to do that simply because they stop making software for the last one i bought.. After a couple years... Imo they should be making new software for all ages of computers. The only reason they dont is to make you keep buying the latest stuff. Its known as forced obsolesence.

But whatever, if you think thats good, its your right. I dont like it myself. Im done having to spend hundreds of dollars on this upgrade or that upgrade just because the next game has the next DXwhatever..

please seriously, can you just leave already?

After a couple years... Imo they should be making new software for all ages of computers. The only reason they dont is to make you keep buying the latest stuff. Its known as forced obsolesence.

Companies make what the majority of people want and people always want the latest technology. It's not economically viable to make games with poor engines and bad graphics just to satisfy a small number of people like yourself.

You can't force a business to do something that's not economically viable unless you live in a socialist (or by extension, communist) country.

Go take an economics class.

i own a amd 3200, ati 1650, and 3 gig of memory. You want to sell me software? Make it to run on that, because im not buying a new pc until this one wears out in about 5 years.

You sure make alot of assumptions.. Theres more older PC's in use out there then new ones. The majority do not run out and upgrade the instant a new tech is available. I bet its less then 20% who have a totally new PC.

Amazing how butthurt some people got here because i complained about not enough games being available. I would think most would agree with that. But getting real opinions is like pulling teeth with some people.. They are too busy trolling, trying to get a reaction from people. (never gonna happen here, i dont give a rats *** what anyone thinks lol)

Well i was infact commenting about system requirements all along, so everything i posted was entirely to do with this thread. But yes, i said my piece with the first post, everything since was in response to comments by others after that.

Needless to say, aslong as they keep making new games for PC's i dont own, i wont be buying them. I recommend to developers they make games for the PC's we do own. Sales will be higher...

I am about to call troll. Go check out http://www.gog.com/ and http://store.steampowered.com/genre/Indie/. The vast majority of those games will run on your boat anchor, and I doubt you have played through all of them. They might not be new, but they are new to you, so go for it.

Hey, i just came to say my piece and was attacked for it. In hopes a developer or someone might see it. Im not the troll here by a long shot. I wouldnt have made a second post if i hadnt been attacked... I simply wanted to give my opinion. I certainly didnt come here looking for a debate. I didnt even expect a single response from anyone tbh.. Maybe if there were less people here waiting to attack other posters this wouldnt happen.

And i own every game i can find that will run on my PC and played them all through repeatedly. Im on disability from a car accident, so all i do is play games 24/7.. So i am in need of fresh content. Thus my discontentment with my current situation.

Anyway, i didnt come here looking to offend anyone or have an arguement...

Anyway thats all i have to say on this topic.

Wait. You have played EVERY GAME on gog.com? They have a fairly extensive archive of all older good games. I have personally bought from them before, and TGN has reviewed games from the site several times. Beyond that, most Independent games being released TODAY have lesser system req's than big-name titles.

I dont have a credit card and wont be getting one any time soon. So i dont order online. But i have every game i can find in stores like EB games, who carry older games aswell as used games. So i have what i can find. believe me, i have alot of games. Book shelves full actually. But im bored of them, ive played them all through over and over.

i mean he keeps claiming that no new games released this year or upcoming can run on his computer, when we already told him this is not true.
