I might do some temp tests, see what the changes are. I'll go from from 520mhz core to 820mhz core. Same for mem. I'll use ATI tool to stress

If you are using the 4870 in your sig, you should have 750mhz stock... not sure where you are pulling the 520mhz. What card are you using?

But for reference, my GTX295 is 576mhz Stock, I have it at 670mhz. My temps rose 5C idle and 8C load. Granted I have an Antec1200 and have a funnel directly to my videocard.

ATI tool is very outdated. That said, from your images you couldn't have been running the tool for more than a minute at a time. Run Crysis benchmark at High for 10 passes then see the results again.

Firstly, i don't have Crysis. Secondly, idle and load were run for 3 minutes each, enough time. Lastly, doesn't matter whether ATI tool is old or not, it's still a stressing program

That's like saying that OCCT = Prime95 = IBT... All stress the CPU to 100%... but yet 1 hour of Prime = 10 hours OCCT... and 5 minutes IBT = 40 hours of prime...

ATI Tool may be a stress program, but extremely outdated.

If you use Rivatuner and modify at a system level, the manufacturer will be able to tell.

As far as overclocking, temps definitely skyrocket. ATi tools is, as people have said before, oudated, and playing Crysis should tell you the difference in temps easily. Alternatively, you can always use FurMark, which will eat up your graphics card in a jiffy.
